Common Questions and Answers about Miscarriage ultrasound at 4 weeks

miscarriage

Avatar f tn Hi ladies I am currently 5 weeks 4 days pregnant this is my third pregnancy my first two ended in miscarraiges at 6 weeks. My dr did an ultrasound at 4 weeks 4 day and didn't see anything at all! Has anyone else had an ultrsound that early?
Avatar f tn Just found out I'm 4 weeks yesterday! I'm excited, nervous, and anxious. I had a d&c for missed miscarriage in June. I just need to keep my spirits up and pray for the best. Anyone else go through this? It's hard to trust that everything will work out for the best, but I so badly want to. I just worry. Our baby would have been born dec 26 now we're blessed with this pregnancy.
Avatar f tn If my HCG levels at 4 weeks pregnant are 214 is this considered normal or am i at risk of having a miscarriage?
Avatar f tn How common is miscarriage at 11 weeks? I havehad 3 miscarriages since Nov 2011. #1 heart stopped beating around 8 weeks, #2 fetus stopped growing around 5-6 weeks, #3 hcg levels would not rise after 4weeks. I am now 11 weeks and have had 2 ultrasounds where the heart beat is strong and the baby is developing fine.
Avatar f tn My first appointment was march 25th I was 4 weeks 4 days my levels were 756 that day and my doc started me on 200mg of progesterone to try and prevent miscarraige
Avatar f tn I had a miscarriage in November and two healthy pregnancies before that. I should have been 13 weeks on the missed miscarriage but it stopped growing at 9 weeks. I'm nervewracked. I want this one to stick. Anyone ever experience something like this and it was OK?
Avatar n tn I wouldn't worry about it unless you started bleeding. I didn't even see a sac let alone a baby on my ultrasound at 4 weeks pregnant. At 6 weeks pregnant on the ultrasound I still can't see anything (tech does, I don't). Trying to tell how far along you are with numbers isn't always accurate. I wouldn't go by that. I'm sure you numbers will double and when they do, don't worry about it. 4-5 weeks is really early to see anything! Good Luck!
Avatar n tn Go to the doctor, don't delay. The same thing happened to me at 9 weeks and I lost the baby.
Avatar f tn m sorry for the delay in response--was very ill for awhile I usually tell my patients to expect their next period within 4-6 weeks after a miscarriage. Since you were fairly far along, your hcg levels may have been fairly high. Your body won't ovulate until all the hcg is cleared. Waiting another week or two wouldn't hurt, but after that, a call to your doctor would be a good idea. Sometimes I like to jump start the cycles with a 5 day course of Femara or Clomid.
Avatar n tn I myself was afraid (had a miscarriage in April), but I decided to just go with it and not to worry about it- whatever happens, happens. Still hoping things progress in a healthy manner. I think that at 4 weeks it is pretty normal to have some cramping as long as it is not severe and there is no bleeding.
Avatar f tn I am 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I've been spotting on and off for just a week. It started off pinkish-brown the first time, second time orange-red, and now reddish with clots of maroon. Looks just like my regular period i would normally get. This morning I woke up and was bleeding. I called the hospital to see if i had a miscarriage or not. As I was at the hospital a midwives nurse informed me that my cervix is fine but, I was bleeding a little bit from my uterus.
Avatar n tn Will not even ring for an ultrasound appt for another 4 days because she says it is too early to see anything until 6 weeks. I am sick with worry and am playing the waiting game now. Does anyone know if I was having a miscarriage when the bleeding would become actual bleeding? I have no cramping but spotting for 3 days now.
Avatar f tn I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and couldn't see anything but my daughter already had a strong heartbeat
Avatar n tn I am now 4 weeks but had slight brown discharge doctor Gave me a referral for ultrasound but at 4 weeks can they tell u/ show you much?
Avatar f tn I had an early miscarriage at 4 weeks pregnant. It was such a shock, especially with me being only 25 years old. I’ve had 2 other successful pregnancy’s, my cycles has been normal, I’ve been ovulating normal... I just don’t understand how a healthy 25 year old can suddenly have a miscarriage? I’m wondering could my c section from my last baby, which was 4 years ago, could have played a factor in this?
Avatar f tn m about 4 weeks give or take about 4 weeks. (funny how it can be off by 4 weeks!) The Dr told me everything looked fine for an early pregnancy and I was infection free. She also said the same, that this is sometimes normal for some. I've never had bad cramps during my period, so these cramps feel terrible to me. I am still spotting pink and brown, I know some women have gone on to have normal pregnancies after these symptoms but it worries me.
Avatar f tn I'm debating if I should go at 8 or 12 my doctor wanted me to come right away cause I've had one miscarriage but I don't really want to.
Avatar f tn Most times in a non viable pregnancy, growth will have stopped earlier. So you have an ultrasound thinking your 6 weeks, and the sac is measuring 4. I guess for some Dr's 6 weeks is routine, but more commonly a viability ultrasound is 7 or 8 weeks to avoid exactly what your going through. I'm glad your going back monday, and I bet all is just fine. Don't forget to update us!!
Avatar f tn at least 4 weeks..the usual average is 5-6 weeks...and an ultrasound at 1 weeks you would not see anything..not much at 4 or 5 weeks most likely not much either at 6 weeks but possibly...
Avatar f tn I just found out I'm pregnant I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive and according to my app I'm 4 weeks this is my second baby I have a boy and he's already 8 years old. Me and my hubby have been trying for 2 months and finally I'm pregnant I'm just scared because I've had a miscarriage about 4 years ago.
Avatar f tn Great news my hcg went from 69 to 376. The Dr said he is so happy with the increase I don't have to get my blood work done again. I have an ultrasound scheduled for 4/3. Can't wait to see how things progress. I am not out of the woods yet but feeling optimistic. My 1st miscarriage was at 6wks, 2nd at 7wks, and 3rd at 13 weeks, but they think the baby didn't survive after 7 was my body just hung onto it for awhile. Keeping my fingers crossed we already love this baby.
Avatar f tn And the miscarriage rate from the hemorrhage is very low... At 23 weeks mine was completely gone and I just had a healthy baby 6 weeks ago.. I had the bleed BAD... I was laying down and all of a sudden felt a gush of blood, ran to the bathroom and large clots started falling out of me.. I thought for sure I had another miscarriage... Went to the ER had an ultrasound and there was my strong little beans heartbeat..
Avatar n tn ive now got to the milestone of 12 weeks and 4 days I had my scan today and all is great baby doing fine. Had a possible reason given to me for the bleed the sonographer said a small part of the placenta wasn't there that could of been the explanation for the bleeding. She said not to worry the placenta is a good size and won't effect the baby.
