miscarriage trying again

I had a complete miscarriage a week ago today, I was 10 weeks pregnant, my husband and I want to try again. I went to see my GP who has said I can try again when I feel ready and the bleeding has stopped. The bleeding stopped 2 days ago. I wanted to know how quickly other people have got pregnant after a miscarriage? I have brought ovulation testing kits and they said positive this morning but is this a hormone left over from the miscarriage?

i had a mc at end of dec and trying to concive again i ovulated on the thrusday and had sex sat mon and the wens the days b4 my ovulation day what the chances of catchin this time around

How long after a miscarriage do you suppose to wait until try again for a baby? I heard after the bleeding stops but then I heard after you have one normal period. Which is it?

Thank you, I did have my period, it just ended a few days ago, I feel ready to try again, but if I miscarried it would be harder to deal with. My doctor also told me miscarriage is common in my age group (im 20), but it still ***** my first pregnancy was a miscarriage. Thank you for your advice.

I had a miscarriage in august after going for our 12 week I was told the baby had not got past 6 week. I went the medical way had the tablets the following week. It didn't go straight forward as I retained some product which passed the following week. I had my first period last week so now ready to start trying again. We have had unprotected sex twice it's now all I can think about. Anybody else been through this? Just need help/advice somebody to talk to before I send myself crazy.

How Long after a Miscarriage Should I or Do you have too Wait to try to Conceive Again??

I had have one on September 2012 we tried again like in one or two months tried n tried n thank god I got pregnant again they told me I could lose this baby too so they told me I had to go every single week to see if there was a heartbeat so when they did that u/s they thought I would 9 weeks but I was 6weeks 2days n we got to see it .

We found out that our baby had no hb on 12/15, the next morning we had the d&c. As soon as I got home from the hospital dh was talking about trying again. I just felt numb, it didn't really sink in until the next day. On 12/23, exactly one week from the d&c my dr. called with some lab results. I had the afp blood work done on 12/05, and they also sent the placenta to the lab for testing. The results came back positive for trisomy 18 or Edwards Syndrome.

Having a miscarriage is indeed a horrible experience and I commend you for trying to stay positive and trying to conceive again after what happened. Try not to lose hope, because conception is still possible after a miscarriage. Hope all is well and do keep us posted. Take care and best regards.

I am so nervous about it happening again, and obviously I know there is nothing I can do to prevent another miscarriage. We started trying again this past week, and it was very easy for us to get pregnant last time so I'm assuming it will be pretty easy this time. But, ever since my D&C, my periods have been abnormal and wierdly spaced apart. Did anybody else have problems getting pregnant after miscarriage?

I had missed miscarriage 01/05/09 and my husband and i both want to try again. The doctor said we shouldn't have any problems because we had a perfect pregnancy with our two year old son and didn't have any problems conceving the one we lost, but even though i really want to try again i'm so scared that it might happen again. I don't know if i could handle losing another baby. Are the risks greater then the benefits?

It's not weird at all I think it's only normal to think that way after we've gone through what we have. I had a missed miscarriage at 14 weeks and I've just now gotten my period so I'm super anxious to start trying again but I know that I will be even more cautious than I was before. Well I already have a 3 1/2 year old son but before we start trying again my DR told me she would run test on me (draw my blood) & see if anything came up that could also be causing me to miscarry. She feels like everything will be negative due to me already having a child. My husband & I were going to wait at least 6 mths before trying again but now I am READY. My doctor told me that after one regular cycle she thought I would be ok to try again, and now that regular cycle has come, and my partner is very excited about trying again. I, on the other hand, am feeling really unsure, lost, and a little bit heartbroken for a future loss before we've even tried again.

So, Yet again this is an all too familiar subject for me. I am having another miscarriage. I have been bleeding since Thursday of last week and it was brown blood more than red and never experienced any pain until today. This morning when I woke up I knew something wasn't right. So, I got to work and the pains started...at first I thought they were gas, but throughout the day they got worse. So, I go to the bathroom at 11:30 and there is a clot and have been bleeding ever since.

I agree with rccresswell you have to do what is right for you and you WILL know when you are ready to start ttc again...We started trying again right away...but I did find it more comforting when af came my way so now I had a starting point and could start tracking my cycles more. I just told my DH yesterday that if I didnt get my BFP next month that we would stop being so worried about it....and just let it happen....:) which is how i got pregnant last time....

sorry for your loss but you will eventually have a successful pregnancy. I would try to give your body time to recover has your uterus went through hard time and start taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid before trying. Don't rush b/c miscarriage can repeat again if you don't take good care of your body before ttc. Good luck.

t have any difficulties getting pregnant with my son--2nd month trying. Trying to make a sibling was a bit more challenging. I got pg after trying for 4 months, but I lost it at 7 weeks. No testing was done since it was only my 2nd m/c in my lifetime. Got pg right away after one normal period and lost it at 9 weeks. This time they tested and found an extra #3 chromosome. After trying for about another 6 months and going through acupuncture, we went to a fertility specialist.
