Avatar m tn Today I saw my doctor who was quite refreshed from rest at home. He recommended two treatment options, one is injection once a week and the other is baraclude by mouth once daily. Because the former has side effects that may cause me (the bread earner of my family) to stop working, I immediately chose the latter, which costs $2200 per 90 days. Would appreciate your sharing your experience if you have used baraclude before. Thank you.

It has no effect on ability to maintain a pregnancy as it doesn't go deeper than the surface layer.
Avatar f tn It is best to treat this condition as soon as possible. The common treatment options are progesterone creams, gels, vaginal suppositories or shots. It is best to visit a gynecologist and discuss the treatment options. I sincerely hope it helps. Best wishes and regards!

1379502 tn?1279106329 So, now with my new doctor I have had to push through 3 specialist and finally have a great specialist but no treatment plan. I cannot do any interferon treatment because of my low platelets (now 43,000) and have just found out from my Fibroscan that I have the beginning of cirrhosis. Great! My doctor wants to find out why I am destroying platelets or not making enough etc..
Avatar n tn He started talking immediately about cuttting (as my Dentist predicted). No other treatment options were discussed, such as antibiotics or oral mout rinses (such as Peridex, etc). Yes,we've reviewed my techniques in great detail (several times actually). Several additional factors impacting my problem are that I grind my teeth when I sleep, although I do now wear a mouth guard.
