The first is after HbeAg becomes negative, HBeAb positive, low or undetectable hbvdna, ALT normal after antiviral or Interferon
treatment. The second type is when you are HBeAg negative and started
treatment because of elevated hbvdna and ALT, after several years, your hbvdna become very low or undetectable and ALT returns to normal.
The first type of stopping treatment usually has a high rate of success. The second type is not as successful.
