Does anything think that might be related to ectopic, or that perhaps the progesterone is preventing symptoms of an otherwise imminent miscarriage or ectopic? Is this normal at 5 weeks?

ps. I have my first dr appt tomorrow, but it is at a planned parenthood facility, and Im afraid they won't be educated about progesterone cream. does anyone have any experience with planned parenthood? Thanks!
Im 10 weeks , &nd 6 days pregnant. I havent had prenantal care yet , I missed my period the month of May , June , &nd July I spotted for 3 days which was a pinkish color. I was just curious can I spot while being pregnant! Im 100% sure of me being Pregnant , Im happy &nd hope it'll be a GIRL this time because I already have two BOYS!
Um...I am not very knowledgeable about progesterone but from what I understand it is a hormone taken to provide the pregnancy with what it needs until the placenta takes over. Did the doctor do a blood test to see if your progesterone levels were low? I don't think progesterone has any birth defects for the baby...lots of women take it in very early pregnancy (usually stop by week 10 I think). Bleeding doesn't mean a miscarriage is imminent.
I'd like to add that sometimes a miscarriage is inevitable and progesterone supplementation will do nothing but prolong what will eventually happen. This is usually true in the case of a blighted ovum or molar pregnancy. But a perfectly healthy little embryo should survive with progesterone supplementation. You can stop taking supplementation during week 10-12 of pregnancy.
d that was just in the normal range. However, because I had one previoys miscarriage she put me on progesterone tablets. Has anyone had to take something similar? Or are you currently taking it? Tell me about your experience did you have to slowly take yourself off or just cold turkey? Any symptoms?
My first I had all the symptoms... I then had 2 miscarriages and this pregnancy I had no symptoms. My breast weren't sore at all. Not everyone get symptoms and I think the statistics is 57% of women have tender breast so the comment above is completely incorrect.
The statistic of miscarriage is also for every 5 pregnancies only 2 result in a baby. A lot of women don't realise they are pregnant and miscarriage unless they are testing regularly. So again, the comments above are incorrect.
Before you reduce or stop taking a prescription medication, you need to discuss it with your doctor. Call your doctor and let him/her know that you are having a problem with the medication and ask THEM if it is safe for you to reduce your dose.
ve had 3 m/c as well. I think there are differing opinions on this. Some doctors think progesterone should be started right after ovulation for it to be of use. Other's wait until a positive pregnancy test to start it. So really it's hard to know for sure.
With my most recent pregnancy, my progesterone was only 5.8 at about 4-5 weeks and my doc put me on the supplements and when I got tested again 3 days later it was over 40. I still m/c'd.
ve read on the internet says that there is no proof that progesterone will prevent a miscarriage. I tend to disagree. I would have lost my son very early on if I had not used it. My level started at 15,went down to 13 in 2 days. Using the progesterone suppositories elevated it to the higher normal range and everything was fine. Hope this helps.
I never noticed any bumps while on progesterone cream, but not sure if this could cause it or not, I would think it sounds more like lyphnodes and think you should call your doctor, Good luck and congrats on the Baby
However this month as im ttc i charted my ovulation dates and had sex.however on 11dpo started bleeding lighter than my normal period for 4days.Took a hpt but it came back negative.Anyone has any idea as to whats wrong?

On the ultrasound result i hve Polycystic ovary right my OB gave me progesterone 200mg cap taken orally once a day for 10days. On 5day i got my period..i was confused because i was expecting to get my period after 10days of progesterone. I dont know what todo.Do i neet to stop or continue the progesterone until 10days? I was told when I had found out Feb 16 my hcg levels were only 37 which I was immiadtley put on progesterone suppositories (cirone 8%) and baby aspirin. I started bleeding at work Feb 19 and immediately went home as I was passing tissue went in friday and my levels were dropping at 35. So of course another emotional day and very disheartening!
The fact that your progesterone is dropping may mean impending miscarriage. Low progesterone can cause you to miscarry. It is VITAL to have during pregnancy. It might not be too late. Ask your doctor for progesterone supplementation and see what happens.
Hi. I've had my transfer on June 3 (15 days ago) and have been on 3 200mg progesterone suppositories since per day. I've had clear discharge since, except yesterday it starting being a bit yellow-brown with a few darker specks (still very light in amount-only need panty liner). A lot of info I know, but I'm really nervous. This is our first IVF and we so want it to go well that every little change is noticed by us. Could this be normal, or is it a not so good sign.
m 6 weeks pregnant and started bleeding Tuesday. It was not typical miscarriage symptoms but that is how my miscarriage in 2006 started out (as a little bleeding). So naturally I FLIP. m wondering if the light spotting I had the one time today and the ease in pregnancy symptoms could be a sign of early miscarriage? I am still sensitive to smells, and my boobs are sore, I'm also gaggy and can't handle to eat certain things. Just not nearly as sick as I've been. I've had some dull cramping (in my back as well) but nothing bothersome, I can just feel it. I'm worried and I need some insight.
My question is could I have already miscarriage but could not bleed because of the progesterone injection? If not, what was the pain about? I don't feel pregnant and my breast seems to be tender on and off, more at night and gone in the morning. Thank you.
