Avatar f tn The problem is I also have fibroids that may obstruct this increasing my risk of miscarriage. I have been told that there is a possibility of cystic fibrosis so had blood taken yesterday for that. We now have to wait one week for this. I have no clue what to think or what to do? 1300874 tn?1277517227 Is your dr an ob-gyn or a Reproductive Endocrinologist? If he or she is an ob-gyn, you might consider moving to an RE as they have more experience with high risk pregnancies. Did your dr not suggest having testing done on the "cacoon?" When I had a miscarriage, they tested the remains to get an idea of what happened. Finally, have you and your husband had genetic testing?
4920659 tn?1371061785 Ok ladies. I am now in week 12 and after 5 previous m/c this has certainly helped me relax. I'm feeling less sick & more energetic but getting banging headaches. I've got my second scan tomoz as i'm considered high risk but for some reason i'm scared... just worried incase theyre like oops sorry cant find a heartbeat. Avatar f tn You should go to a high risk doctor to check out the blood and monitor you more closely I am not trying to scare you but I was also bleeding and spotting and the doctor would always tell me it was normal until one day the baby just stopped breathing and resulted of a still born at 7 months so pretty much just be very careful with some doctors but I wish you luck and happiness in your pregnancy and congratulations by the way now I am 7 weeks pregnant and no spotting but I am still visiting a hi
10947 tn?1281404252 Hello All, We'll soon be introducing a new feature for our expecting moms. The Pregnancy, Week-by-Week application will allow you to read all about what's happening to your body and to your baby during any given week. It'll track where in your pregnancy you are and send you emails to let you know when you've started a new week as a reminder to read the new information for that week.
Avatar f tn I had my ultrasound today and after just having a miscarriage, my 6wk 3day old baby is visable with a healthy heartbeat :) I'm happy but unfortunately my bf isn't and says were not ready for this and I don't have any support from him. I don't know what to do. I know what I want to do but I feel like it's not fair to have a child with someone who doesn't want one. I'm so confused!
Avatar f tn I had been experiencing serious pain in my lower back for a few days and suspected it might be the start of a miscarriage. In fact the pain was so great I had visited the hospital a couple of times for increased pain relief. Then a rash showed up but the doctor said "flea bites". A co-incidence but these things happen. The next day the flea bites were obviously a rash and had moved to my tummy along with the pain and spotting had started.
Avatar f tn Im scared that wen i get there, there wont be a heartbeat (scared of a miscarriage)...ive read alot of posts on here about that and it scares me to death. I hope my baby is ok :( lol i kno im prolli juss tripping but hey...im a ftm..wat can i say lol. But when u wrnt for ur sonogram ultrasound, wat was everything they test u for.??? How long were u there.?? Did they give u pics to take home.??
Avatar f tn I did it. It's only a vial of blood so unlike a lot of more invasive testing, it won't come with any risk of miscarriage. Some women prefer not to get the testing done because it can cause unnecessary stress, but I like to be prepared. I would've kept the baby regardless of what the results were, which eliminated any stress, but that way if there were any things I would need to do differently, I could start from day one.
4043310 tn?1355912647 I had my 12 week scan yesertday and wanted to share the experience. Before the 12 week scan I was really not thinkin any amouth of sickness is worth being pregnant but after seein that wee baby quite the thing bouncin about a sucking its thumb looking so prefect, I feel amazing so proud of myself and I know believe all the sicking all the bad bits to pregnancy really are worth it just to see that amazing little baby.
Avatar f tn Has anyone on here taken week by week pics to track there growing belly? Or plan on taking maternity pictures? What week are you planning on taking them?
Avatar f tn I did have heavy bleeding and clots for another day to two days before the last clot came out. I bled heavy for a week, medium for another week and spotted for a third week. I didn;t get my first period for 5 and a half weeks. I hope that helps with your experience.

Avatar f tn I know how you feel, i had a healthy baby boy in 2015, 2nd pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage at our 13 week scan in March this year. (We had previously heard babys heartbeat at 8 weeks) and it was absolutely heartbreaking. I am now pregnant for the 3rd time and have been so nervous since finding out. I am 16 weeks and it was so good to hear baby still had a heartbeat at our 13 week scan. I still have so many moments of worry and anxiety.
Avatar f tn I'm so scared I had a miscarriage 4 months ago but I'm pregnant again tomorrow I have my first ultrasound and I'm so scared I hope I hear a heart beat
Avatar f tn I was 6 weeks when I found out I was pregnant...I was scared I was having a miscarriage I had every symptom your having besides the blood. and went to the DR where I was told it was the baby stretching and making room inside you.
Avatar f tn I am 40 and first time pregnant after 13 years of trying. With two early miscarriage and one failed IVF. At 8 weeks my featus meadured 8.3mm compared to 12mm as expected. Now in my 9th week I am having bouts of diarrhoea. I thought may be due to cheesecake that I had but whenever I eat something I have to rush to loo. I am afraid and dont want to loose this baby.
Avatar f tn Ok so i am now 11wk6dys an at my 10 week everything looked great! However due to my individual problems i am now going to be seeing the COB (complicated ob) and well ill be seen at egsactly 14 weeks and well im just wondering if any of you other either expecting mommies or already mommies had a ultrasound at 14 weeks and were told the sex of your baby and had it be right? Or if the doctor will even be able to guess? Also if there are any other mommies out there seeing a complicated ob/gyn?
Avatar f tn My first pregnancy was the same and ended up being a miscarriage. I am so worried about another miscarriage. Anyone not see the baby at 8 weeks, but still have an healthy baby?
Avatar f tn I had a scan every week until I was 10 weeks (I wasn't considered high risk, but had suffered a miscarriage, super anxious about it happening again and I was diagnosed with an SCH). Nothing wrong with that, and it absolutely doesn't hurt the baby. When the measure your baby (crown to rump) there are many positions the baby could be. If the baby is in a really tight fetal position then they might not be able to get an accurate measurement.
Avatar f tn I went to er last night, they said it was a threathned miscarriage. So just got to be safe. Just wondering?
