Avatar f tn All kinds of numbers and miscarriage rates are running around out there after a heart beat is seen, I have seen from 5 to 10% quoted. It sounds like you are doing all the right things and things are going great. Hope this helps, not sure there is an answer.
Avatar f tn I was surfing around ( cause I was worrying about 2 trimester mc rates) and found this site http://www.amazingpregnancy.com/pregnancy-articles/337.html Hope it helps ease someones mind.
Avatar f tn Anyone else finally hit the burst of excitement?? I felt like I was dying the last 2 months and now that I'm feeling better I'm stoked. This is my third pregnancy, first ended in miscarriage and second ended with a perfect girl (who just turned one). I'm too excited about gender reveal in a couple of weeks and buying baby things all over again! It took me a little longer to feel so excited, but I blame it on the morning sickness.
Avatar f tn I stopped spotting at 15 weeks and i was very worried to at first i went to the er twice for the same and they would chrck but nothing then i was told it happens to some women during their first and part of second trimester and i guess its true bc now at 34 weeks my baby boy is perfectly fine and very healthy.
2118793 tn?1342449463 Ive heard you are more fertile after a miscarriage. I'm sorry to hear about your loss and I hope your next pregnancy is a healthy smooth 9 months.
Avatar n tn My Donor was 27 years old. I was wondering about the miscarriage rate for that age and whether there is a difference in rates between Donor Egg and regular IVF? Also, does the rate chnge depending on how far along you are in the pregnancy? Thank you!
Avatar f tn The miscarriage rates do drop dramatically after 6 weeks. Since once the embryo is successfully implanted and grows things go pretty smoothly. Asset this point all that can go wrong is a truly random occurance, like wrong number of chromosomes - extremely rare, especially if you are younger.
Avatar f tn I am 37 and have just had my second m/c in a year with IVF. These were both FET cycles, and ended between 8 and 10 weeks. Does that make a difference? We have been using donor eggs as well. Donor was 30 when eggs were retreived. We still have 3 embryos left and have decided to give it one last try. What are our chances for success? Is there something we can do to help prevent another m/c? Since I have Endometriosis, I have been thinking that this may have been a factor as well.
7249862 tn?1392252689 Once you're in you're second trimester you're on the safer side. I had a miscarriage last year while I was in my first trimester so I was a bit worried with this pregnancy. Now that I'm almost in my 3rd trimester I feel safer.
Avatar n tn First trimester ultrasounds are THE most accurate. Once you reach the second trimester all fetus' begin to grow at different rates. A 2nd or 3rd trimester ultrasound can be off by as much as 2 weeks either way. Always go with the original due date of a first trimester dating scan unless you doctor specifically changes your due date. Unfortunately with the dates being so close the only way to establish paternity for certain will be a blood test after the baby is born.
Avatar f tn It's normal :) you are almost in the second trimester. I'm 19 weeks and have never felt pregnant since the very beginning.
Avatar m tn Its when you're cervix is incompetent- doesn't function correctly or the way its supposed to... it happenes in you're second trimester when the baby starts getting a little bigger usually between 17-23 weeks. The cervix can't hold the weight of the baby and you begin dilating without any symptoms. So eventually one day you're menbranes come out or youre water breaks and you have the baby. Sometimes it can be caught in time and you can get a. Wmergen y cerclage..
Avatar f tn It's higher risk to lose the baby in the first trimester. So until like 14 weeks.
941213 tn?1246461232 It is rare to happen in the first trimester and leads to miscarraiges, its more common in the last trimester. hang in there girl.. let us know how you make out!
Avatar f tn I just went through my 2nd second trimester miscarriage at 14 weeks. 3 Months before I lost in February at the end of 21 weeks. No problem with the baby but my cervix just flops open and that's it. Now for future pregnancies I have to have a cerclage but I'm still worried. 23 years old Hyperthyroid but never was the cause for the miscarriage and is mild so far. Has anyone experience second trimester loss? And/or had a cerclage?
Avatar f tn You are in your second trimester at 14 weeks. The risk of miscarriage does decrease substantially after 12 weeks and even as soon as you hear your babies heart beat through a fetal doppler. It does not mean you are gauranteed not to have a miscarriage, just that it is less likely for your body to reject the fetus.
Avatar f tn She's right because that's also when ur miscarriage rate drops and people start telling friends n family
Avatar f tn What's the latest in pregnancy that anyone knows of someone having a miscarriage? I'm 7 weeks preg and I'm wondering when to feel at ease.
Avatar f tn s normal to worry but dont stress to much over it your pass the first trimester in which miscarriages are common second trimester is a very very low chance for a miscarriage just try to enjoy being pregnant
