Common Questions and Answers about Miscarriage rates heart

miscarriage

Avatar f tn All kinds of numbers and miscarriage rates are running around out there after a heart beat is seen, I have seen from 5 to 10% quoted. It sounds like you are doing all the right things and things are going great. Hope this helps, not sure there is an answer.
Avatar f tn Higher rates of fetal loss are associated with lower fetal heart rates; survival is zero at heart rates below 85 bpm at 6 to 8 weeks of gestation. That said a normal heart rate (110s-160s) by 8 weeks gestation confers a much better prognosis. A repeat sonogram to detect the fetal heart in 3-4 weeks will be helpful. Best regards, Dr.
Avatar m tn Your heart rate is fine while working out. Your max predicted heart rate is calculated as 220 - your age which is 204 for you so no worries. As far as a heart attack from a blood clot, it is very rare and even more so at your age, don't worry about things like heart attacks, enjoy life.
Avatar f tn Yeah baby's heart rate tend to be much higher. Nothing to worry about unless your doctor tells you.
Avatar f tn most of the time, my heart is 110-130, but it was at least 256 once. If the heart rate is below 55 or above 135 (unless exercising), you should go to the hospital.
Avatar f tn For vigorous exercise, aim for a target heart rate of 70 to 85 percent of your maximum heart rate. Your MHR (roughly calculated as 220 minus your age) is the upper limit of what your cardiovascular system can handle during physical activity.

6387609 tn?1393274731 my Babies First heart Rate At 11 Weeks Was 166... What Was Your Babies Heart Rate And Is IT A Boy Or Girl????
Avatar f tn ) They both have strong little heart rates:)
782720 tn?1236125785 If you read the literature, you will see studies showing an increased risk of miscarriage associated with low heart rates, but that has not been my experience. I hope you have another scan coming up soon, if the heart rate rises into the 160-170 range within the next few weeks, I bet you will do OK. I'm pulling for you! Good luck!
Avatar n tn I've heard of the heart beats and heart rates how many of you have exprienced this my babes heart beat today at the apt was at 185 ? I don't really know what the say the higher or lower ? About the gender ?
Avatar f tn theyre pretty accurate at that early stage of pregnancy but i think they can be like 3 days out at that stage. the later the ultrasound the more it can be out. but remember all babies grow at different rates and a heart beat is a great thing, I've also had a miscarriage and know how hard it can be not to worry during your pregnancy that the same thing will happen but im surebyour baby will be fine. sending you my best wishes as well that it all works out.
Avatar f tn I wanted to ask a question.. I'm 10w and went for my scan on tues doc said heart beat was good at 135 I told her I thought it was to be higher? She said who told u that? Then my husband says she in some group thing on her phone and see other ppl saying there's is higher.. Smh! Lol!!! So I said it's not just that I've googled it also, she said everyone is different but my baby is fine. I'm just nervous bcuz last year I had a miscarriage around this time...
Avatar f tn m on my third pregnancy.first 2 were both missed miscarriage. Went for an ultrasound and no heart beat for first one. Second one I went In heard a heart beat but it wasn't strong at all so two weeks later I got another ultrasound and the baby's heart beat stopped beating the day before. But I am now 9 weeks pregnant with twins and so far so good. Both heart rates in the 180's(: don't stress your self out. Think positively!
Avatar n tn Hi! It sounds to me as though you are on all the proper therapy. If you were my patient, I would probably use the same medications. While there are a few studies out there suggesting an increased rate of miscarriage associated with a low fetal heart rate in very early pregnancies, this has not been my experience.
Avatar f tn I had my first US yesterday. According to my LMP, I am 7 weeks, 3 days. The ultrasound measurements indicate an age of 5.5 weeks to 6 weeks of age. The doctor was concerned by this, and by a "low heart rate". Although a bit hard to see, we could see the baby's heart motion as it was beating, however they did not pick up heart tones and did not estimate a heart rate. The yolk sac was there, and the gestational sac looked "a little crinkly" according to the doc.
Avatar f tn Can anyone give me a link or tell me where i can find a site which shows average fetal heart rates for specific gestation times? I have googled as much as i can and I cant seem to find what I'm looking for. Just a simple graph / chart will do. Reason I ask is because I just hired a doppler (paranoid, I know!) and even though I can hear the little heart beating away I am just curious to know what the average rate would be for each week.
Avatar f tn I have a copy of this ultrasound showing the four chamber view of the heart. I have done much research on the detection rates, however research does not really break down into these defects that she had. I am not a professional, but to me it seems clear in the ultrasound that these defects do show, and it also appears that her heart is in the middle of her chest instead of towards the left.
9381846 tn?1403742278 Babies heart rates can change. That is still a completely normal heart rate. Don't worry. Both my boys were in the 130s.
Avatar f tn Once we see a heart beat on the ultrasound there is a very good chance that the pregnancy will continue. In my practice we even see lots of babies with slow heart rates that do fine. If the ultrasound probe is twisted a tiny bit, the measurement can change by several days. Even if the probe is exact, there is still an error of 3-4 days is the measurement. The chance that your ovulation was delayed by 2-3 days is pretty good. I'll bet (hope so!) your baby is fine! Good luck!
