You usually count backwards 14 days from the day your period is supposed to be due and that is your day of ovulation. You can google "ovulation calender" and many will come up for you to use. I would suggest having sex during that whole week with the day of ovulation right in the middle.

I had a miscarriage in 8 weeks. then now, its been five months. My ovulation dates got changed. First it used to be on midle of the cycle and it was normal. But now, it is changed to 20-24th day of the cycle.. What should I do to change this as I hav severe pain with change of dates. My cycle is now 31 days...

i had a miscarriage 2 week ago, the hospital advised to try again once the bleeding had stopped, i have done ovulation tests and to start with they said i wasnt ovulatin but for the past week they all say i am ovulatin. the tests say that ovulation will be in the next 24 - 48 hours. is it right that i can be ovulatin for that long????? the hospital told me i will be more fertile but i dont understand that the tests are all showing the same for a week now???? sorry if i havent explained it well.

3rd when my HCG levels reached 0 (Oct. 3rd was approximately 26 days from when my miscarriage started on Sept. 8th). There is no option to record miscarriage, so my luteal phase and cycle length averages are skewed too long. Is there a way to incorporate this data, so my stats are accurate? Also, I tried starting a pregnancy tracker for my recent loss, but it doesn't have an option for miscarriage, either. My choice was "childbirth," not miscarriage.

did u try logging on to any online ovulation calculators which might help u assess when u might ovulate...it ll give u a span of days when possible ovulation might happen...as it may differ from person to person depending on the lenght of the cycle...

Hi everyone, can anyone offer any advice?? I recently had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, there was no development past 5 weeks, only an empty sac seen... A woman can become pregnant 12-24 hours after ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs midway through your cycle (approx. 13-16days after the first day of your last period). Doctors say the best time to get pregnant again is right after a miscarriage. Many women get pregnant a month after a miscarriage is when your most able too. dont listen to her. My doctor ttold my husbands grandma after she had hers years ago the best thing to do after is go home and jump right back on the band wagon. She miscarried in January and had his mom in december.
