I am 12 weeks pregnant and I went to the ER because of a small amount of blood. I was concerned that I may be miscarrying! When I received the ultrasound no heart beat was detected and no fetus was present. The tech then gave me a vaginal U/S and then she saw a "YOLK' or an embryo. As I am a second time mother I know that at 12 weeks a fetus would be present instead of a embryo. She told me that the baby measured to be 5 weeks and 6 days. That is impossible!!!

After Endovaginal ultrasound on 9th May, doctor said there was no fetal found only sac is available with 19.1 mm size. so,on same day checked B-HCG and again repeated after 48 hour interval. Result was 35000(firsttime) & 53000 (second time). Now today after seeing B.Hcg count doctor asked me to do ultrasound after 2 days. For your information. My LMP 19March2018. Ovulation between 12th March and April 1 as per Ovulation kit. So We had sexual intercourse only between these dates.

One week ago during a routine 8 week ultrasound, I found out my baby died. (The baby was a good size for 8 weeks, so perhaps it happened the day before.) Here's my question... I just started bleeding on Saturday, 5 days after the appointment, but the fetus hasn't past yet. Yes, it is called a missed miscarriage. Your body still thinks its pregnant and still secretes pregnancy hormones but the baby stops growing. I don't have much info on it but you can always google missed miscarriage and look for a reliable article.

but they will now keep any eye on me because I have had a miscarriage! I think regardless of it being your first or your third pregnancy so many miscarriages take place due to short cervix they should start to keep an eye and measure it from day one! Because their are solutions to it if caught early! there isn't a single day where I don't blame my self or live in regret..it has only been 6 weeks since my miscarriage...

c was done they said the got the placenta but found no fetus. they searched elsewhere just in case and found none. what happened to it?

Although 3 embryos of good quality were transferred and beta-hcg was doubled in every 48 - 72 hours, the fetus was not developed and the fetus pole was not found after 7 weeks? What should I do to help prepare before the next IVF cycle? Thanks so much doctor! I really do appreciate your help!

Maybe. You best bet is to see a doctor to make sure. Take a test too, IF you're having one, it may still show up pregnant.

t explain that, but I found it odd that you could not be allowed to get on a plane, but you can buy a gun and/or ammunition. Also, how do you feel about your gun laws? My curiosity is aroused........

my doctor advised me to go for a U/s on 19th Dec., 2011 nearby 7-8 weeks pregnancy. but in that U/s no heart beats found on which doctor told that it might be earlier & advised to do once again after 8-10 days. i m very worried. Hi im 18 and i found out i was pregnant around the 1st of January 2012 , all was well till i had a scan at 9 weeks(09.02.12) after loosing some blood i found out the fetus had died at 5 weeks and the fetus didn't come out till the next day so it would of been in there dead for 3 weeks.

They did an external u/s first and they could not see anything, no heart beat or fetus. So they did an internal u/s, they found two sacks but no heart beats. The doctor said that this could be a possible miscarriage, but wanted to do blood work and a second u/s in a week to make sure. This is my first pregnancy, I have never miscarried either. I initially went to have an early u/s as I have been bleeding a little on a daily basis, a brown colour, my u/s showed the sac and a yolk and a tiny fetus but no heartbeat. Ok, so after having a miscarriage 6 weeks ago i used ovulation test strips and found out i"m ovulating again. What are your thoughts on alcohol consumption during the 2 week wait between ovulating and finding out if you"re pregnant? Thanks.

-( I found out yesterday that the fetus was not viable and the yoke sac and fetus were abnormal. They said this was due to it attaching to the septum. They still want me to get double checked after the pregnancy is over. I am hoping it is small since they did not see it the last time and I had a bunch of u/s during that one since I was having trouble passing it. I don't know anything about pcos, but in answer to question 1, it's perfectly safe to have a natural miscarriage without following it up with a D&C if you know that all the tissue was passed. The doctor can tell that by doing two blood tests for hCG, 48 hours apart, or doing one test and getting a "0" level on it. She can also often tell by looking with an ultrasound.

It's so hard to go based on one level...you could have that level anywhere from 6 weeks on, and it could be considered normal. Your levels could still be that high on one day and drop dramatically another day. Hcg levels are funny like that. Since you haven't actually lost the product yet, your levels would still be elevated. Once you start bleeding and losing product, then your levels start dropping. I would definitely wait until you get the next beta.
