miscarriage

Avatar n tn I then was told to come back a week later and they informed me there has been no growth and now i have been given the options off what to do for the miscarriage. I am obviously quite frightened as this is my first pregnancy and i am not sure what to do. I have had no bleeding and can't understand how tey just assume i am going to misscarry.
Avatar f tn Late this summer I found out that I was pregnant, unfortunately I had a miscarriage. I was very emotional and just broken. Although we weren't sure if we were ready to have a baby my boyfriend was very supportive. After everything we had discussed that we wanted to wait until we finished our studies to have a baby.I found out last week that I was expecting. I'm very scared that I'll have another miscarriage. And also that my boyfriend isn't ready to handle a baby.
Avatar f tn At 4weeks and 4days I'm having a miscarriage this is new to me I've only experience stillborns what do I expect do I have to have a D/C
Avatar f tn I'm scared to death of having a miscarriage. I have a two year old son already and just found out I'm five weeks pregnant . I was having bad cramps and some spotting the er said it was a threatened miscarriage . now it's like all I do is worry about losing it . idk what symptoms to even look for.
Avatar f tn t look right and paired with the spotting they deemed it a threatened miscarriage. They gave me the options of having a d/c then or going home and waiting it out. I chose to go home where the spotting turned into the period from hell. I know i can't he pregnant anymore after that but yet im still testing positive on tests. The hcg line has noticeably grown fainter on hpt. Is that a good sign it is over?
Avatar f tn I have done 3 u/s the techs sd there was a sac measuring 8 weeks 3 days today but no baby. So the nurse practioner sd she saw a baby which is prolly 10 weeks but no heartbeat. She gave me 3 options 1) go home and let the miscarriage work it's course, insert a pill in my vagina or a d/c. I have not been cramping nor have i seen any blood. Im still having symptoms and8 feel it's too soon to hear a beat. What should I do?
Avatar f tn I went for my 8 week sonogram last week and the doctor saw an empty sac. I had blood drawn twice to see if my hormones were decreasing, and they were. The doctor told me it will be a miscarriage and wants me to have it naturally, but I've been told to have the procedure instead. What do you recommend? I'm ok with doing it naturally. Plus, I just moved so I don't have a new doctor yet.
Avatar n tn My gynae doctors suspect I have had a micarriage but my hormone levels are very very slowly coming down, they ae concerned that I have had a miscarriage form an ectopic pregnancy. The thing that is really concerning me is the amouth of bleeding that been going on. There was reddy brown light bleeding for a week, before I passed a clot and then very red bleeding with clots. That lasted a week and then another week of reddy brown bleeding.
1454858 tn?1306784378 if something horrible would happen to this baby, would I want another one???? I had a miscarriage last year. It showed me how fragile life is. What if this baby is stillborn or dies of sids? these thoughts terrify me. I still have the greatest fear that something will happen to my 5 yr old. Sometimes I can't sleep at night because of it. Anyway, back to the subject! I am considering options (I know it is a little early) for birth control. 1.) tubes tied??? does it hurt? 2.
Avatar f tn So it is an up hill battle to have a pregnancy that results in full term baby at 47. Your chance of miscarriage is high (about 75%) and the fact that you had a miscarriage already does in fact increase the risk. I ditto the comment about not waiting three months to try again after a miscarriage at 47. Time is not your friend. In fact Ipursue more aggresive effort at trying to conceive than just trying on your own. Don't waste precious months.
805992 tn?1238170783 I was pregnant a couple of months ago but i had a miscarriage. The doctors at the hospital kept on telling me that the bay was fine and everything but i had a divided uterus. I was wondering if maybe that could have caused my miscarriage?
Avatar f tn Also, you may decide that your preference is to miscarry naturally. You do have options here, so do what feels right to you. All the best to you.
Avatar n tn There are several forms of birth control. I am not judging so please don't take it that way. Abortion should not be used as birth control because it's hard on a woman's body. See a Gynecologist to talk about birth control options. If there is a reason you're not able to take birth control condoms work very well when used correctly every time you have sex.
1153462 tn?1282256777 I imported all my ovulation information for the past 14 months into the ovulation tracker. I have had two miscarriages during this time. There is no option to record miscarriage, so my luteal phase and cycle length averages are skewed too long. Is there a way to incorporate this data, so my stats are accurate? Also, I tried starting a pregnancy tracker for my recent loss, but it doesn't have an option for miscarriage, either. My choice was "childbirth," not miscarriage.
Avatar f tn (It is not that high of a miscarriage risk, but doctors do worry.) Talk to your doctor about surgical options or ask him to refer you to another doctor. The retroverted part is not that big a deal, elevate your hips after sex and the sperm should find a way in.
Avatar f tn I know exactly how your feeling. I had a miscarriage last year in July and now I'm 8 weeks. When you miss cary is most likely that there was some problem with baby and your body was rejecting the baby. Im scared just like you but u try to eat better go for a walk and I try not to stress a lot. And when I van I try to rest as much as I can.
Avatar f tn There was no gestational sac, the doctor said it was 1 of the options I was real early, it could either be a tubal pregnancy or a miscarriage..and rescheduled me for a 6 week ultrasound! I'm nervous, I'm still waiting to atleast see some signs of pregnancy..two weeks later and still no bleeding, no signs off a miscarriage..should I be concerned?? Im hoping I was just too early.
9215866 tn?1403133867 My first pregnancy at 16 ended in a missed miscarriage, it was so easy for me to decide to keep my baby as I had support everywhere and now I feel as though everyone is frowning upon me for not learning the first time. I spoke to a doctor yesterday and she was persiant on me getting a termination; handing me bouchers on clinics and abortion. I was devastated when I lost Peyton and yet I can seem to be happy about this baby; my rainbow baby.
Avatar f tn How long did it take you guys to convieve after a miscarriage. I suffered one on October 30, 2013, then got pregnant again in early February. I miscarried again last December on the 23rd. Has anyone else experienced this? I want my kids close, and I hate taking tests every month with disappointment. Today was negative, even tho I am experiencing nausea, fatigue, and extreme hunger. My period has yet to come, as well.
Avatar f tn If you were my patient, I would advise you that there is still a chance that you can conceive if you still have regular periods. At 43 the risk of a miscarriage if you DO conceive is quite high and the risk that the baby might have a congenital anomaly such as Down's syndrome is quite high as well. If you are aware of these things and willing to take the risk then go for it! There are lots of options for antenatal testing now if you do conceive. Good luck!
Avatar f tn Hello, Progesterone is very important for implantation to take place and its deficiency can cause difficulty in conception. Even if implantation occurs low progesterone levels can lead to miscarriage. It is best to treat this condition as soon as possible. The common treatment options are progesterone creams, gels, vaginal suppositories or shots. It is best to visit a gynecologist and discuss the treatment options. I sincerely hope it helps. Best wishes and regards!
Avatar n tn I'm now 10 weeks and found out in my 8th weeks through ultrasound that there is no fetus and no heartbeat, just an empty sac. After two more ultrasounds, it was confirmed that I have a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum). The doctor only gave me two options: either have a d&c or just wait for a natural miscarriage. I am very afraid to have the d & c and put to sleep, so I opted for the natural miscarriage. It's been 4 weeks and nothing.
Avatar f tn I don't know exactly how far along... can't be more than 5 weeks since conception. U/S didn't show anything - no gestational sac. Doctor has just said that it is not a normal pregnancy and is monitoring hcg. I'll go tomorrow to talk to her, but I'm not sure what the options are at this point. She and I both were hoping hcg would be going down if this is a miscarriage and I wouldn't need a dnc. This is my first pregnancy so this is all new to me.
Avatar f tn I am going through one now but my doctor gave me options. My options were let it happen naturally and it make take time because you do not know when it will happen, even though you are not feeling it now i felt my pains the whole time just no bleeding and 3weeks later the bleeding started. Thr second option was the abortion pills which jump starts the process for you, and lastly the third option was a d&c. I opted for the natural but please believe me it is no joke.
