1419501 tn?1320206310 i agree with beanie485. a normal miscarriage is when you start bleeding/cramping then find out the baby has no heart beat and the body gets rid of the pregnancy on it's on. a missed miscarriage is when you have no miscarriage symptoms (bleeding, cramping) and then usually go in for a check up to find the baby had passed usually days or weeks ago without anyone know. i am sorry for your loss. hang in there.
Avatar f tn Possibly having had your medical care previously at a pregnancy resource center and the ER, your information will be inconsistent or not quite as precise. However, you have said before in your posts that you know all of this, and you've discussed the dates with your doctor. If so, you will know already that even if conception was on August 4 it doesn't mean the baby came from sex on July 12.
Avatar f tn I delivered my first at a birthing center and it looks like this one will be delivered there too (we had been considering a home birth but logistics and insurance denials are getting in the way). I know not all places have the same protocols and guidelines... but in my case I never went to a checkup there, I always just go for office visits with my midwives who deliver at that facility.
Avatar f tn yes it could be a false positive because...when you got your periods..surely there was some changings occur in your harmonal level...so that changes can be shown in the tests...you can take preg test after your periods....that result will be accurate ...
Avatar f tn When you say you "went to this free thing" do you mean you went to a 'crisis pregnancy center' for a free ultrasound? Please know that those places are almost never staffed with trained and certified medical professionals - they are mostly volunteers who are only trained to give you biased and frequently completely false information. They might have equipment that looks nice but they don't know how to use it. Your doctor was right.
12275041 tn?1435515465 So, back in July I had my first bundle of joy and I stopped bleeding 3 weeks after. Hubby and I have been doing the deed since then, though only using pull out method which we know isn't 100%. But I had yet to start my period so I took 2 tests this week which came out negative. Yesterday I had a laparoscopic surgery to remove a cyst from my ovary and when I got home I had started bleeding. Today, I used the restroom and wiped there was something clumped on the toilet paper.
Avatar n tn hi, im 28 years old. I have a red pimple in the middle but more on the right side of the breast for around 4 years. it was small than the nail of my first finger but over the period of four years, it just had increased a little larger than that same nail's size. it used to hurt a little but now it frequently hurts and causes much disturbance sometimes. A surgreon told me that its benign and may be removed by taking augmentin for 5 days. I took but had no effect on it.

572651 tn?1530999357 Some are angry, some are scientific, it varies because most of these groups are homegrown since we are the orphans of the disease world. Columbia University has an excellent Lyme research and treatment center with a very high quality website if you want the high level stuff. Search columbia university lyme and you'll find it. I'd also suggest ILADS [dot] org, which is the website for the main LLMD group.
Avatar n tn hello, after failing to get off of pain medicine on my own, i amde a called to a local bahavoir health center that deals in addictions, and i made an app. for the 16th, she said there will be an interview lasting aprox 2 hours at that time, and they would decide whats best for me, has anybody ever went to a center like this? do you know wat kind of things that will be decided?.. any information would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn I'm having constant pain in my lower abdomen like in the center & it hurts bad. I just read that if you have those pains in the first 12 weeks followed by bleeding, it's probably a miscarriage.
Avatar f tn Hi, I have a similar situation. My last period was August 18 or 19. I am confused about the date. The ob-gyn says I am about 8 wks. I went in for the ultrasound and the technician says the sac looks like it is 6 wks and she couldn't find or hear the heart. My gyn talked about options and she believes I am going through a miscarriage but I am not bleeding, and don't feel any pain? I don't know what to do?
Avatar f tn Hi Guys, I frequently mention that I'm using Dr. David A. Jernigan's natural formulas for my condition, CFIDS. I know I've mentioned Dr. Jernigan's name before... he's the physician who successfully treated his own lyme disease without antibiotics. Anyhow, it was suggested that I post this link to a MedHelp members success story at the Hansa Center. This member doesn't have a diagnosis, but his physicians suspect either lyme or CFS. http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn If anyone has any experience with the Wisconsin Chiari Center, please PM me. We are considering this option and need all the help and advice we can get.
Avatar n tn D&C stands for dilation (or "dilatation") and curettage -- that is, opening the cervix (dilation) and scraping the inside of the uterus (curettage). It can be done in a doctor's office without anesthesia or in an outpatient surgery center or hospital with epidural, spinal or general anesthesia. When it is done without anesthesia, most women report cramps as the cervix is opened. D&C is a common gynecologic procedure that has many uses.
744818 tn?1236911595 I'm 26 years old and I've been really sick since I suffered from a miscarriage at the end of November. I'm not suggesting that the miscarriage has anything to do with it, but in case it does I just wanted to mention it. It's all a very long story but I'm worried about my CBC and urinalysis.
