1938802 tn?1323718128 Hello, The duration of bleeding from a miscarriage is different for every woman, but the bleeding should stop within about two weeks in most cases. You should however get a routine pelvic examination and ultrasound uterus done to check for any retained products of conception. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
Avatar n tn hello ladies, I had a miscarriage last year in August. and was told by my doctor to wait a year before trying again..I'm just wondering if anyone else went threw this and how long did it take you to conceive again? Avatar f tn I had a miscarriage two days ago. I removed the device at the hosptial, it wasn't properly fitted. After the removal, the burning sensation went away immediately. I do not think I would try the mirena again. Thanks for the comment.
9623228 tn?1406019441 m in the second trimester, does anyone know percentage rates of miscarriage? During first trimester I had a few complications and was told to rest easy until my second trimester.
Avatar f tn Is it possible to have a miscarriage at 24 weeks? Or would you just go into labor?
Avatar f tn It could very well be the miscarriage causing bleeding. The doctor probably should have done the d&c.. I had a miscarriage in 2009 at 8weeks but for some reason I can't remember if they gave me a pill or not. But I do know for sure that they did not do a d&c.
Avatar n tn Her youth is no protection from complications from miscarriage. If the sensitive home test says she is not pregnant, and IF her subsequent periods have been totally normal and regular, she might (I emphasize might) be able to get away without seeing a doctor. But it is much safer and a lot wiser to see one.
233053 tn?1321643821 Please let me know if you experienced any of these complications after miscarriage and what you did to fix the problem. I am currently seeing an RE.
Avatar n tn The highest risks of a second miscarriage and other pregnancy complications were seen among women who conceived more than 24 months after miscarriage. The findings run contrary to current guidelines by the World Health Organization to wait at least half a year to conceive after having a miscarriage, which affects approximately one in five pregnancies. Avatar f tn I'm am 7weeks post partum.......On Nov 6/7 I started bleeding light brown, it's gradually become worse, and now it's Nov 16 and I'm still bleeding. It hurts to Wear tampons, the blood is clotty (but only red clots), I am not cramping at all. *my normal period last 5days, I normaly never have clots, and I normally have pretty bad cramps. Is it too late to test to see if this is a miscarriage? Should I go to the doctor? Even though I'm bleeding?
1453821 tn?1285179865 I had a miscarriage in August 2010, at 5 weeks. It was uneventful, no worse than a period, but my doctor wanted me to come in to make sure that "everything came out." He did a transvaginal ultrasound, which confirmed that I had a complete miscarriage. I had my second miscarriage in January 2011, which resulted in a D&C. I bled very heavily (sometimes passing clots as big as baseballs) for 11 days, trying to do it on my own, before my doctor encouraged me to have the surgery.
Avatar m tn Hello ladies. Has anyone suffered a miscarriage or birth complications because of STD? Sharing your story can help other women.
Avatar f tn I had to get a shot with my first pregnancy to make sure if he was rh- the next pregnancy wouldn't be affected.
Avatar f tn ALL hormonal birth controls have the potential for weight gain - look into the Paragard, but bear in mind this too can cause negatives such as more intense menstural cramping and heavier periods.

Avatar f tn I had a miscarriage 3 months ago I got pregnant again a month after and my baby is healthy I'm bout to be three months don't stress bc if you do that can cause a miscarraige and just keep your head up take ur prenantles and do as the dr says eat right and just keep your head up and don't worry God is watching over you and the baby just pray every night and ask God if he will help you have a healthy baby and help you carry it to full term
Avatar f tn Everyone has a chance of miscarring. They say if you have a lot of complications during your pregnancy then it's more likely but that's not always true. You can not prevent a miscarriage or stillbirth. It normally happens due to abnormalities of genes not matching up correctly.
Avatar m tn Obviously start trying again when you are ready but there are some great stats out there showing that pregnancy is easier to come about AND less complications/miscarriage after a miscarriage. Again I am so sorry for your loss!
458508 tn?1206635542 s head is so low they said im going to delivery vaginal no doubt about it (unless complications arise) They also say wit ha bicornuate you tend to get more c sections. So dont believe everything you read or hear. Even with a normal uterus woman still get plenty of miscarriages and preterm. The water breaking that early might of been the baby kicking it. Thats what happened to my mother with my brother. He kicked it hard and it broke.
Avatar f tn It could be implantation bleeding and crampsfrom your uuterus stretching or it could be threatened miscarriage. Only time will tell. This early it is pretty common to miscarry. Some women don't ever even realise they are pregnant. If your bleeding gets heavier like a pregnancy it's likely passing. Some people will tell you to run to the ER! But in your first trimester there is virtually nothing they can do for you unless you are having severe pain or complications.
Avatar f tn m sorry for your loss. I personally think getting pregnant after a miscarriage is some closure of the miscarriage. I miscarried on 3/16 and have been actively trying every other day since. Still no period so hopefully were pregnant! Good luck and sending you baby dust!!
Avatar f tn I am 3 months (12 weeks) pregnant. 4 or 5 months ago I suffered a miscarriage at 8 weeks. At the 7 week mark of my current pregnancy I woke up covered in blood and thought I had lost this baby too. The baby was fine and I was told I have a small subchronic haemotomia. It is only small so I've been told not to worry too much about it. lDue to my recent miscarriage though everything is a worry to me!
