1691346 tn?1306927881 since you are so early into pregnancy, a miscarriage is still quite possible. (don't wan't to scare you but I thought I should just say anyway) Anyway, really there is not much that you can do....baby is pretty well protected in there so as long as you aren't doing anything like lifting things that are too heavy etc then you should be fine. Fingering can't cause a miscarriage.
Avatar f tn Implantation Bleeding. This is caused, in the very early stages of pregnancy, by the egg implanting itself into the wall of the uterus. Because it occurs around the same time as you might have had your period, this makes it hard to distinguish between the two causes. Hormonal or 'Breakthrough' Bleeding. You might expect your pregnancy hormones to overwhelm your normal hormonal cycle but this doesn't always happen.

Avatar f tn A chemical pregnancy is used to describe a very early miscarriage. There can be many causes but with these cases, very early miscarriages don't result in embryos or fetuses with a heartbeat. The fertilized egg may not implant well into the lining or it may even graze the lining just enough to get a positive test. These miscarriages occur around 4-5 weeks or so. Some women may not know that they have occurred.
1616538 tn?1304707284 Generally, it's not known what causes chemical pregnancies, early miscarriage, etc. What is known is that most women don't even know when they have an early miscarriage or cp because it happens SO early and it doesn't cause their cycle to be delayed or only by a day or 2. It's basically been chalked up to a chromosomal issue and usually doesn't indicate a long-term problem.
Avatar m tn Hello. I just had a miscarriage a few days ago. I'm 42 years old and never tried to carry a baby to term before. I've had a few abortions in the past, surgical and the kind where they give you a pill. This time I really wanted to have the baby. I was only about 19 to 20 days pregnant when I miscarried so it was very early. Since I'm a novice, I really don't know much about what causes miscarriages so I was wondering if anyone can help me understand this better.
Avatar f tn I just had an early miscarriage at 4 weeks, Doctor thought last cycle I had a polyp but told me it's okay to try this cycle and if I wasn't pregnant we do a saline sono and then remove it. Well I gotten pregnant and should of been told it causes miscarriage. Hoping to still do the saline sono next week and have it removed or just hoping it gone away with this miscarriage so I can try again soon.

Avatar f tn A lot of women bleed in early pregnancy. Some even bleed the whole pregnancy. Don't get upset about it. Call your doctor and maybe they will get you in to see them. But there isn't anything they can really do being your so early.

Avatar f tn A blighted ovum is a type of miscarriage in which the baby either never develops or stops growing at a very early stage in pregnancy and then disintegrates -- but a gestational sac does develop and the body does not recognize that the baby is missing. Causes: Doctors believe that blighted ovums are the result of chromosomal abnormalities in the fertilized egg. One 1993 study looked at the genetics of blighted ovum miscarriages and found abnormal chromosomes in 67% of the samples.
1305767 tn?1361192676 The term chemical pregnancy sounds like a false positive pregnancy test, as if you were not really pregnant at all. But the truth is that a chemical pregnancy was indeed a conception and is actually a very early miscarriage. What Chemical Pregnancy Means: The term chemical pregnancy means that the miscarriage happened at a point that a missed period and biochemical tests, such as an hCG blood test or a home pregnancy test (checking hCG in urine), were the only evidence that you were pregnant.
Avatar f tn I had an early miscarriage at 4 1/2 weeks and when I went to the doctor 2 days after bleeding began my preg test came up neg. The cramping definately felt different than a normal period and I did have clots on the 2nd day of bleeding. So, it is possible that you could have had a miscarriage, but it could have easily just been a wacky period as well.
897362 tn?1318121281 I am at 8 weeks and I really have NO symptoms...and have had a previous miscarriage...and a full term pregnancy. So, hang in there. Symptoms come and go..its normal......dont stress!
Avatar n tn Did u call your ob to tell them what happened so they can monitor you
Avatar f tn Some women spot in early pregnancy (but not eveyone ) which is perfectly normal, Some might get the odd bit of brown bloody which is just your body getting rid of old blood, and others may bleed due to early signs of miscarriage, it all depends xx
Avatar f tn having brown discharge is same symptom of pregnancy and miscarriage but you dont have pain so this is pregnancy i guess.
Avatar f tn I don't think it's miscarriage. Brown blood early in pregnancy is usually old blood... it's nothing to worry about unless you are cramping very bad and/or bleeding bright red. Just tell your doctor at next appointment.
Avatar f tn So I'm about 4 weeks pregnant I no it's early but me and my boy friend had sex and I started bleeding a little bit the next day I had brownish color blood come out and the the following day I started have red blood come out with blood clots and it's still happening but not really severe pain only like menstrual cramps. I had my blood taken twice and have a follow up with my ob. But has anyone had these things happen and not lose your baby???
