Several things can cause miscarriage. Chromosomal abnormalities is a common cause. Also many women have issues with the immune system causing recurrent pregnancy losses. I have heard that if you have hypothyroid, and especially Hashimoto's, since it will attack your thyroid and TSH can show up as suppressed, that the only real indicative measure of how a thyroid is functioning is the FT3 and FT4, which should be in the 50-80% of normal for someone to feel well.

I am sorry that is happening. Usually your doctor will follow your hcg levels. If they drop twice in a row it indicates a miscarriage. Otherwise you can have low progesterone and that can cause the bleeding..if it drops your body thinks its not pregnant and then it brings it back up and thats what causes spotting. Sometimes bodies don't realize the pregnancy isn't viable and keeps on plugging along.

I guess I find that to be true, since womens hormones are constantly doubling, and the fast increase in HCG and estrogen levels are what causes pregnant women to get sick. I am trying to relieve her of unnecessary stress, but I miscarried myself in March, so I guess I can't blame her for being so scared. so you get more sensations that are new (from anxiety) and you freak out which causes you to have another panic attack and more symptoms..so you repeat the earlier worry cycle..which peats the second cyle of panic attack/symptoms..then you add in doctor visits because you're "sure" something has to be wrong..then meds with side effects that will freak you out equally..and there you have a recipe for months or years of being crippled with panic.

I have had many symptoms but am not sure what was anxiety and what was not. I get shaky and dizzy at times and its usually a few days before my period starts and lasts for a few days to a couple weeks after it ends. I have had hot flashes for a period of about a month. I was on the pill as well and I never had symptoms like this. I got preg. Two years ago and I was having the same symptoms as I am now. I had a miscarriage then. If I am pregnant do you think it'll affect the baby and it will turn into a miscarriage as well???

i am 11 weeks and 3 days, and i feel the same way sometimes. some days i just dont feel pregnant at all and i begin to worry. i havent had any signs of a miscarriage or anything going wrong, but its hard not to worry. however, worrying causes stress which isnt good. so just remember that chances are everything is just fine =) but if you really need reassurance, call your doctor, thats what they are there for!

Which is known to happen, but due to symptoms and the very obvious rash was still diagnosed and put on antibiotics. I asked my dr if it would present any complications in pg and she said no, it shouldn't be a factor. It's best to get it diagnosed ASAP, as the longer it goes on the harder it is to treat. Also, once you have it, you have it for life and there can be recurring symptoms. Somedays when I'm not feeling so well I always wonder if it's because of that.
