Why does bleeding occur during pregnancy. Isn't that un-normal and not healthy? I'm just curious. It's not happening to me. I want to know what it means.
With heavy bleeding and measuring smaller, it sounds like a miscarriage.
Id only just found out I was pregnant when I started bleeding. Went to hospital and I was 6w5d. Everything looked fine, they weren't sure why I was bleeding. It stopped next day, but I was on edge until 12 week mark. Im now 28 weeks and everything is fine. You'd be better off going to hospital as they can do an internal scan, as midwife can't do anythings other than refer you anyway.
Why does your doctor think you're gonna have a miscarriage? At my first Dr appointment they told me I would probably miscarry cause the heart beat was low. I went to another Dr for a second opinion and she said everything was normal. I would get a second opinion- it couldn't hurt.

About 7 weeks ago, I had a medical abortion. I took the pills Mifepristone and Misoprostol. After 2 weeks, I went back for a recheck and the ultrasound tech saw a clot. I took the 4 Misopristol pills orally as were nd after two more weeks the clot had broke up but not disapearred. I once again took the 4 Misopristol vaginally to try again to break up the clot. A week later the ultrasound tech was still seeing clot and decided that they needed to do a D&C.

sometimes bleeding in pregnancy can be cause by a number of things, if its around the time you would usually get your period, say 8 wks then its more likely to be a breakthough bleed and caused by hormones, other times you may have a small pocket of blood/hemorage that can bleed, or it maybe comming from your cervix, all bleeding should be reported to your caregiver even though its common, bleeding in pregnancy is not considered normal, also not all miscarriages start out with pain, I would sug

Pain and blood are not a good sign. I had light bleeding to heavy bleeding and then my levels dropped so we are pretty sad but to look on the positive it is better to have it happen at one month than after you are further along. Our bodies are made to detect if there is a problem with the ovary of fetus and that is why sometimes we have miscarriages and it is not our fault.
I'm sure your very stressed. I think they look at all your symptoms and decide what to do. If you're not cramping and bleeding heavily that's why they put you in with your pcp for today. The unfortunate thing is if there is an issue there's not really anything to be done at this early stage of pregnancy. That being said- lots of women have spotting in pregnancy and there's no issue. Try to relax and just take it one step at a time.

im pretty sure im having a miscarriage right now lotsa cramps and bleeding like crazy ive only had 2 clots though over a week and a half ago but still a ton of bleeding some of the blood come out almost mucusy looking and stringy i feel soo pukey sick and the most horrible headache for 3 days can barely open my eyes and just an overall weak feeling if u would like to talk im here :) also my blood went from brown to pink to brown to red to brown then it has gone away twice now and still came back
With the bleeding... could just be a weird period. Could be a miscarriage, which could be why your test was negative. If your hcg levels were doing in preparation of miscarriage it probably wouldn't have been high enough levels to be detected.

Okay so I started my period August 7th and it stopped on the 13th (this is normal length for me) I had unprotected sex on the 16th and the 19th. I started light bleeding on the night of the 19th.
