Avatar f tn Im sorry to tell you, but most likely that you did lose your baby . Its really similar to my miscarriage. Bleeding it lasted a week , like if i was in my period. When i had gone to the doctor they also detected a ovarian cyst.
Avatar f tn I'm definitely not pregnant, since 15 the doctors told me I had a ovarian cyst that causes me a light sometimes heavy bleeding during ovulation.
Avatar n tn Hi Sue I am so sorry for what you are going through. Did they say anything about an ovarian cyst on the ultrasound? I also had severe pain on the left side during my last m/c. Since the pain was not accompanied by heavy bleeding (it was about a week after that had stopped) and it did not look like I was having an ectopic (my hcg levels were dropping) they thought it was due to an ovarian cyst that they had seen on the u/s. The pain was so bad it was unbelievable and was only on the left side.

A ruptured cyst can cause serious problems if she's bleeding. Let us know how she's doing.
Avatar f tn 4) with new cystic component and septated cyst with noted follicles. I have a history of miscarriage and a family history of ovarian cysts. I am 28 with three kids I want a hysterectomy. Your opinion please?
Avatar n tn I have an ovarian cyst with a slightly elevated CA-125 of 52. I am booked in to have a laparascopic cystectomy in 3 weeks. There is a history of ovarian and breast cancer on my mother's side of the family. I have had two failed IVF attempts and this cyst was discovered during the 3rd IVF attempt which has now been abandoned. I have had no symptoms and would not have know about the cyst if it wasn't for the IVF down regulation scan.
1314413 tn?1274115504 If you were five days late for your period, it seems like the pregnancy test would be accurate. Maybe you had an ovarian cyst this month that made your period odd. I don't think it would be implantation bleeding if you were 5 days late for your period; that would be the wrong time in relation to ovulation.
551604 tn?1333983135 5cm functional cyst on my right ovary. My doctor recommended that we surgically remove it. I am risking miscarriage or infection. But if it were to rupture i am risking severe pain and problems later, or if it were to twist lots of bleeding. I am a believer of the lord, I prayed about it and I trust him completely. I know he makes no mistakes. I am due for surgery next week. I hope my info has been helpful. You are not the only one.
Avatar f tn Here is my story, it's a bit long, but i need to vent and hoping someone can give me some advice or comfort. Found out i was pregnant back at the end of April, miscarried at almost 7 weeks. The doctor said to let it naturally run its course. At first it seemed like a 'normal' miscarriage, however the spotting last weeks, then the bleeding and heavy cramps started up again.
Avatar m tn After this burst of initial pain I began bleeding vaginally. I am not due for a period for another two weeks though. This bleeding is extremely heavy. I have only bled this heavily during a miscarriage. As graphic as this sounds, everytime I use the restroom the toilet looks to be filled entirely with blood. They did an ultrasound at the hospital and said they saw no cysts or evidence of a ruptured cyst. The determined that my tubes were not twisted and ruled out a tubular pregnancy.
Avatar f tn miscarriage, but that baby is fine, my uterus is completely closed and that to go home and stay on physical and mental bedrest. During the ultrasound they found that the two ovarian cyst I have had both doubled in size, one being 4cm and the other 3cm. They did say that they likely were not helping the situation. (A little background..
557556 tn?1215658194 Did the doctors say where they think the fluid is coming from, i no sometimes women can have cyst(ovarian), and they leak. I would also ask the dr if it is possible to get sample of fluid if it doesnt threat the baby or your daughter.
Avatar f tn Well im twenty years old and me and my husband have been TTC for about six months now. But i have an enlarged ovarian cyst that is making the process even more difficult. But my LMP was november 25 and then about three days or so ago i have been feeling a tingling sensation right in my bladder right before i get the urge to urinate. Then when i wipe i have small amount of blood on the tissue. But only have blood when i wipe othetwise i dont notice any blood. Could tHat be Spotting?
Avatar n tn Could you have had a harmless ovarian cyst that passed? You could have also had a blip in your hormones. No chance that you could be pregnant, right?
428635 tn?1203720057 The ultrasound will give information as to what may be causing the pain on the right--like an ovarian cyst or corpus luteal cyst (cyst the develops in the ovary after ovualation to produce Progesterone). I hope you have seen your doctor or are planning to see your doctor soon.
Avatar f tn Your symptoms sound a lot like mine when diagnosed with ovarian cyst. I really think you should have some tests done by your gyn/family practioner very soon. My cyst ended up being the size of a grapefruit, and we had to remove it AND the ovary. I was told that if it had burst, I could have died from the poisonous liquid held inside. I am not diagnosing your problem, but really think it is to your benefit to get checked out!!!
Avatar f tn I am not sure about the chance of mc due to a cyst but if you are bleeding and its bright red you should go to the ER. Red is never good. Do you bleed with your other pregnancies?? Some woman do bleed during pregnancy and have normal healthy pregnancy (I have not). I also had a corpus luteum on one of my ovarys with the last pregancy. I never even knew what it was untill the doctor told me. And that was my 4th baby, I guess I didnt know it all, lol.
1173687 tn?1308073391 Hubby and I went to the ER earlier today because of severe pain in the area of my left ovary, no discharge or bleeding just the pain. I've had ovarian cysts before and it feels the same so I figured we'd go in and make sure the baby was alright and see if there was anything they could do about the pain. I ended up getting blood drawn, urine tests, ultrasound, everything.
Avatar f tn went to then ER due to bad lower cramps in my stomach. I had a vaginal ultra sound and blood work with pelvic exam. My HCG is 30,00 baby is 6 weeks with a heart beat of 130. The dr told me i have a subchornic hemorrhage by the gestational sac. And a complex cyst on right ovary. I didn't even know i had a cyst until i readr the paper. He didn't bring that up at all. He really didn't say much about the hemorrhage. Just said if im bleeding come back in .
Avatar f tn I can definitely understand your frustration! I have been dealing with a lot of medical issues myself. I don't know a whole lot about kidney stones so I'm not going to give you my advice on that aspect of it but I am a pro when it comes to ovarian cysts, so I will try and shed some light on ovarian cysts for you.. at least the best i can. I myself have had 3 surgeries in the past 2 years regarding ovarian cysts. I have had well over 10 ovarian cysts, 6 of which were removed.
Avatar f tn I have an ovarian cyst on my left ovary, when I went for a pelvic exam I started bleeding bright red blood and dark brown blood after the exam, did the nurse pop the ovarian cyst? Or did she rupture it?
Avatar f tn Hi! I am a 34yo with 3 kids. I have had a cyst ranging from 3.5cn to now 5.5cm for over 7 years. I had a miscarriage back in april and a d&c. We did not remove the cyst bc my family was leaving for disney the week after. Surgery is scheduled for next week. Upon us last week it was found my endometrial cavity had fluid in it and my lining was thick. They don't think they got everything in the first d&c from the miscarriage.
