I went to the midwife she said they could not check me out till friday ( i have to wait other 2 days) when i have the meeting with the doctor. I am heavily bleeding like a period,,,she said could be a miscarriage. Why does this happen? Can it happen from being too stressed? Or is it normal to bleed in the first weeks? To mention it is not spoting, it is like a period alot of blood and horrible cramps. I have to wait till friday...is it dangerous if it is a miscarriage going on?
From spotting, to bleeding more heavily like a period, to an ultrasound, to excruciating pain (physically and emotionally). One day I was pregnant, the next I wasn't.
My doctor said it had nothing to do with having sex, although now that I'm pregnant again I've had some scared when I spot a couple days after sex.
My advice to you is to not worry about it until you know. Believe me! I know it's hard, but just give it a day or two then talk to your doctor again.

I had some abdominal cramping soreness of breast and clear liquid coming out of them for 8 days after having unprotected sex then i lifted something heavy and and hour later i started bleeding heavily with a lot of big blood clots. 2wks after conception I started spotting and then painful camping at 6am later that day I started bleeding heavily heavily bown clumpy blood I've never had could that have been a miscarriage my period usually always last 3 days the most medium flow no cramping.. Spotting is normal between weeks 5-12 and maybe even further on. It is just implantation bleeding, so as long as you aren't bleeding heavily or cramping so bad you can't deal with it, don't worry about it.

Your cervix is more sensitive during pregnancy, and the light bleeding after sex may have just been from having sex. If you're not cramping or bleeding heavily and passing clots, I'd say you're ok. Just in case you should mention it to your doctor. It's better safe than sorry.
I wasn't bleeding heavily (it was just spotting) and I didn't have any pain at all. My blood test was fine. The hormone level was normal too. I am 8 weeks and 6 days. I went for scanning today and the doctor said the size was quite small and they couldn't see anything. Its more likely to be a miscarriage. I will have to go for scanning next week again, to see the baby development. If there isn't any developments then they'll take as a miscarriage.
I wasnt sure if i was having a miscarriage. I didnt go to the ER cuz they told me only if i was heavily bleeding and having extreme cramps. Well that was not the case, but i read that not all miscarriages happen the same way (heavy bleeding and strong cramps). So today (monday) i called my doctors and they said that they cant see me until wednesday. It seems like its going to take forever til wednesday comes to find out.
She started her period again on Thursday night (8/20). She is still bleeding and quite heavily, 6 days later. She is also feeling very tired. Her knees are also giving her pain. Not much appetite either. Midwife told her to take Aleve to slow the bleeding, and that she may be anemic. Any comments or suggestions? Will she return to normal soon? Until I passed baby, then bleeding basically stopped but I have severe cramping the few days afterwards and I started bleeding and clotting heavily for 3 weeks after I passed baby.
it is NOT necessarily an early sign of pregnancy, but it can OCCUR during pregnancy...I agree 100% with Victoria, please see a doctor. If you're pregnant and bleeding heavily enough for a flow you need to get checked for a possible miscarriage, and if you're not pregnant you need to figure out why you're bleeding again so soon....good luck.
I had implantation bleeding and it was there when I wiped once then gone and no more. When I had my miscarriage I bleed heavily for hours and it was large clots. I would ring your doctor and get an ultrasound scheduled. And I till then sit down and don't do anything strenuous.

About 2 weeks after the miscarriage i was given strong antibiotics as they thought i had an infection. The bleeding got REALLY heavy just last week, where i started passing huge clots and the blood was literally pouring out me!

I had a similar experience at 13 weeks. Started spotting heavily on friday and on mon i was cramping and bleeding heavily. Saw the doc on tues and she said there wasnt even anythingthere that resembled a baby and most likely was empty to begin with. The doc can give you a pill to help contract your uterus to dispel any remaining tissue. They check via us to make sure you are cleaned out. If not the doc can either remove any lingering tissue pretty easily in exam or schedule a d& c.
I'm 7 weeks an had bleeding this week I went to the hospital in a panic thinking I was having a misscarrge an it was a small hemridge under the sac my baby is fine. I have been bleeding lightly on an off since but they tols me its normal. When I was there they kept asking me if I'm passing clots an I wasn't so that's something to look out for an how many times u changed ur pad? It may not be a misscarage go check it out for sure.
I'm sure your very stressed. I think they look at all your symptoms and decide what to do. If you're not cramping and bleeding heavily that's why they put you in with your pcp for today. The unfortunate thing is if there is an issue there's not really anything to be done at this early stage of pregnancy. That being said- lots of women have spotting in pregnancy and there's no issue. Try to relax and just take it one step at a time.
