I'm 23 years old, I had my miscarriage on 7/28 had my d&c the next day. I had very little bleeding after my d&c. It has been about 6 months and still no period. I was diagnose with pcos before my pregnancy and I also have a thyroid disorder as well. I had mild cramps for the last 2 months. I saw my doctor 6 weeks after my d&c told me everything was fine. I can't see my doctor for another month and I want to know what is going on!

It can also be a part of severe pelvic inflammatory disorder. STDs like Chlamydia and gonorrhea too can cause this. Another possibility is a miscarriage. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your gynecologist regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!

It could be an environment issue (scar tissue in the uterus, for example), it could be a hormone issue (not enough progesterone to signal to your body that you are pregnant) and it could be plain old genetics. It could also be caused by a disorder, such as a blood clotting disorder. Testing the embryo tissue is one way to figure it out; they may also want to test your blood and your partner's blood for any genetic issues.

If you are bleeding you should go to the er or doc asap to be checked.

umm only last week I was told I was 3 months and a week pregnant by my doctor from blood test results and today I started bleeding really heavily and had the most horrible pains I couldn't move it hurt so much, could this be a miscarriage!? please help!!!!

I had no problems with my first pregnancy, but I did have to take Heparin for a blood clotting disorder. I also had a miscarriage in December 08. At 12 weeks+2 I had a gush of blood that led me to go to the ER to be evaluated. They saw the baby and told me that all should be fine and to follow up with my OB (who happens to be a peri). At my u/s follow up, they diagnosed me with a 4x1x2 subchiorionic hematoma located right next to my cervix.

t know why the only thing that I can think of is she thought I had the miscarriage a while ago and was still bleeding. Needless to say I was admitted to the hospital the following night (unable to bear the pain) with a blood clot the size of a softball that was preventing anything from passing through. I was sent to surgery for the D&C then the next day was sent home. Since the mc I have been bleeding very heavy during my period and haven't been able to get pregnant.

The second one i started spotting and bleeding at 5 weeks, however my beta doubled every 26-30 hours regardless of the bleeding (even though i was on supplemental progesterone it dropped from the 40's at 4weeks preg, to 10 when the bleeding was occuring, but began to rise as we increased my dose but miscarried anyways) My question is How likely is it that a clotting disorder or genetic factor caused both of these since they were both so different from each other?

I did! I bled at 10 weeks, almost 11 weeks. I went to the bathroom and found bright red blood in my underwear. I panicked and went to the ER and they did blood work and an emergency ultrasound. I was sure I was having a miscarriage. Turns out they couldn't find a reason for the bleeding (and there are some that don't mean miscarriage!) and my cervix was still closed. My diagnosis was a "threatened miscarriage" but "it didn't look like that was going to happen to me.

Was it heavy bleeding or spotting? You really can't tell unless you go get a quantitative HCG test ran and you really need more than one in order to tell what is going on.

So i just found out recently that i am pregnant but now this more i am having alot of bleeding and i am really scared cause idk if i could be having a miscarriage or what it could be.

Are you cramping at all? With you being that early its possibly implantation bleeding. If there is intense pain and you're filling a pad in a few hours time I'd call the doctor, otherwise drink some water and put your feet up and relax!

My first pregnancy (before my daughter) I had a miscarriage, the only real difference in the bleeding between my daughter and my miscarriage was the lack of cramps when I was spotting with my daughter. I had excruciating cramps with my miscarriage. Best to get checked out though. Good luck, I hope all is well.

I am 6 wks and for the past couple of days I have had some bleeding its mostly just when I wipe its a light pink color any ideas what is going on? I had a miscarriage last year when i was 3 wks and its nothing compared to this time.

Hi ladies, last night I went into hospital and was told I was having a threatened miscarriage as I was having the most painful cramps and some bleeding. They did an ultrasound twice and found a heartbeat but unfortunately this morning I had lost my little one. I was 6 weeks. The pain I feel is both emotional and very physical. I'm 4-5 weeks I know this might be tmi but I wiped last week and saw very very light pink discharge 2 times last week and this week out of know where on my panties I saw a little bit of red blood. I'm scared I might be having a miscarriage. I don't have my appointment until next week. HELP has anyone had this and everything was fine!
