miscarriage before missed period

Thanks for the help. I tend to think that the spotting isn't because of the miscarriage only because I had a miscarriage so soon. I wasn't far along at all. In fact, my period that month just ended up being one week later than it normally would have been. Had I not tested so soon, I wouldn't have even known I was pregnant. However, today, I was still spotting and then some red blood came. (sorry for the details) So I guess its my period.

I did! It was a lot at first just when I did a lot of excerise now I'm getting often and its annoying I've taken a pregnancy test today though and it was negative so I have no idea what's going on.

It is not unusual to get pregnant almost immediately after a miscarriage. It seems that the miscarriage has primed the body for pregnancy. Although it is normal to be a bit anxious after a miscarriage, there is every chance that this will be a successful pregnancy. I am very happy for you. Enjoy. I had a missed miscarriage in 2011, had a d&c then a few months later after my period came back I got pregnant with my son. He's a healthy 2 1/2 year old now and I'm pregnant again. My doctor told me most people have atleast one miscarriage in their life and that's it. So try not to stress too much!

I WHIPED TO DAY AND THERE WAS A LIL BIT OF BROWN BUT IT WAS JUST WITH ONE WHIPE NOTHING ELS I AM SO CONFUSED I DONT KNOW IF IM PREGANT PLEASE IF ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVISE LET ME KNOW THANKS SHAY.

You could take another test now and see if you are pregnant. It could be but it sounds that you are irregular. May I ask what kind of IUD you had? I had a copper IUD so I never missed one period but I've heard that the Mirena IUD which is hormone based can make you skip periods which could be causing the irregularity. Or you could be pregnant. I got my IUD removed on Feb of 2008 and I conceived in May (had a miscarriage) and then conceived again in Nov. now I'm 5 months pregnant.

Yes I had to look it up. I never heard of it. From what I just read you can't take the test and then a little while later you will get your period. This is pry why so many ppl don't even know they had a miscarriage because it was so early.

I also had a missed miscarriage with no symptoms whatsoever (found out by u/s on 2/13) and the doctor gave me an option of natural m/c or d&c and I had to think about it over the weekend and I dedided I just couldn't handle it emotionally to wait it out. A week later I had the d&c. At my followup the dr. said my cervix was still closed and soft so apparently my body wasn't ready to let go of the pregnancy. I'm pretty sure I would have had a long go of it if I had tried.

I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage on October 2 , 2014 at 10 weeks 4 days and was told id miscarry with in a couple days to two weeks so far nothing has happened and its been a little over two weeks. Any advice would be helpful since my doctor said there is no need for a follow up appointment and his diagnosis final. Should i get a second opinion? I have no bleeding or cramping and still feel very much pregnant. Im 12 weeks 5 days now. really need some advice .

If it still comes back negative and you are a week late then call your OB and let them know that you are late for your period and the last time it took 6 weeks before it showed up positive. Also make sure they know about the missed miscarriage because they will probably want to keep a closer eye on you. Good luck and I hope you get you BFP soon!!!!

I had a missed miscarriage but haven't miscarried the tissue yet. I started spotting/bleeding some on Fri. and am wondering am I starting to pass the tissue and stuff now? It started as dark brown blood and today it turned to bright red. I wanna schedule a d and c but just not sure if I am starting to pass naturally? U can't have a period right until after u miscarry the tissue/baby right?

I worked out that my period starts every 21 to 23 days. However, I am now at day 36 and still have not had a period, I have had slight cramps, and have been seeing a clear mucus type discharge, I have also had all the symptoms of being due on a period, i.e. mood swings, hunger pangs, tiredness, etc.

I missed my period back in june of 2014, about 8 days later I began to spot very lightly with no cramping, it stopped after 3 days. the next month I missed my period again, took a urine test it and a blood test and they were both negative. I have all of the signs of pregnancy. Missed period, bloating, nausea, heightened sense of smell etc But negative testing. I began to gain weight, only in my abdomen area, I missed my july, august, september periods.

I have had 2 miscarriages. After my first miscarriage I got pregnant after my first period (it took 8 weeks to get a period after my miscarriage). My daughter was born full-term and perfectly healthy. My last miscarriage was this past November. I got pregnant again right after my first period (also took 8 weeks to get a period after this loss). I am currently over 10 weeks pregnant now and we saw the heartbeat already. You should wait 1-3 periods before trying again.

No symptoms at all. Just the missed period.

I would go to the doctor to give yourself peace of mind. I would drive myself crazy having the worst thoughts in my head. The best thing to do is be seen.

Some of the say that they work as soon as the first missed period. I had to wait for several weeks before the hormones were strong enough to register on the test. I bled at little too, but I was still pregnant.

I had a missed miscarriage at 13wks. I took exactly a month to get period. Then get pregnant right after that and now I'm 37wks. Good luck!
