Some follow the breast feeding model where the child does not really eat any food, except breast
milk or infant formula until about 9-10 months old. Then baby food is slowly introduced, cereal, vegetables, meat, fruits. Others feel a child should start eating baby food at about 3 months old, cereal, fruits, vegetables, and meats. The only foods restricted the first year are dairy products (milk, yogurt), wheat products, and orange juice due to help prevent allergies.
