I thought I was suffering from a migraine but it turned out to have long term effects on my apperance, I have droppyness on the right side of my face, mental confusion from time to time, numbness in arms and hands and toes.and difficullty speaking muscle weakness,on the right side of my body.my mri was clear like yours,but I have a complete occlusion in my left artery.I also have uncontrolled b.p.
My son who is 45 just had a mild stroke, 4days ago, now he can't talk properly, he knows what he wants to say, but the words won't come out!,& he can't write, nothing wrong with his hand, otherwise hes ok,he has headache but the doc told hm, with the medication he only had his right hand tingles & his mouth,, 2years ago he had meningites, he came out ok, nothing damage, Do you think it got something to do with the meningites he had???
I'M ROMY, 56 YEARS OLD. IN 2001 I UNDEWENT ANGIOPLASTI, HAD VERTIGO AND MILD STROKE IN 2003, ANOTHER TIA IN DEC. 2005. LESS THAN A YEAR IN OCT. 2006 ANOTHER TIA AND AGAIN IN APRIL THIS YEAR. AFTER MY TIA IN 2006, I HAD A TINGLING AND BURNING SENSATION IN MY LEFT FOOT 24/7 ESPECIALLY TOWARDS LATE AFTERNOON AND FROM TIME TO TIME NUMBNESS IN MY NOSTRILS AND UPPER LIP, ALSO NUMBERNESS FROM MY SHOULDER TO MY HANDS.
I am 72. I had a mild hemorrhagic stroke in 2014. MRI revealed abnormal cerebral artery with Moyamoya-like vessels. ( Moyamoya disease has been ruled out) I suffered no effects from the stroke. For the first year, I felt slight burning sensations and quirks on the affected side in my head. These are gone and for the last 5 mo. I feel waves or flow on the affected side over my eye and across my head where this abnormality is. I have no pain. This continuous flow feeling is disturbing.
I've found that Aggrenox seems to work without side effects. It's primarily baby aspirin, but also contains a drug that prevents platelets from sticking together. I've taken it twice a day since my stroke, and it appears to work, but who ever knows?
I went on xanas for a few days trying to get off of Tramadol for my back pain. I thought I was going to die from the side effects of xanax, I felt faint, no appetite general sick feeling and so forth. It is helpful to some and not for others. Glad to hear your heart is ok and no arhythmia. Have you tried biofeedback? It really helped me with the anxiety and fear of getting reinjured from my back problem.
--ischemic stroke, right side brain, left side paralysis. My 80 yr old father had a stroke 4 months ago. About 1-1/2 months ago he started experiencing mild itching on his legs and has now become chronic all over his body. Most of his meds have rash and itching side effects. Aggrenox was just changed to Plavix, but the itching has not stopped. 325mg of aspirin is also a future consideration as a blood thinner. He was given Ativan 0.5mg two days ago to stop the itching.
While many other people feel little in the way of side effects just the advertised occasional mild headaches. Either way it is all valid tithe peoe who either do or do not experience side effects from treatment.
For me except for the anemia I developed from the Ribavirin I felt fine on treatment and still do 3 weeks after stopping the meds.
Sorry if treatment has been hard for you but the important thing is to get rid of hep c to stop any additional liver damage.
The side effects I had with clomid was a very mild headache, and moodiness later in my cycle. I was only on 50 mg per day for 5 days. I never really had physical pain or tiredness with clomid, but I did have the mental stuff a little bit.
With the injectibles, I had lots of physical uncomfortableness (still do !!! ) but no real mental/emotional stuff. It's sort of hard to tell if the drugs are making us crazy, or the process we're having to go through month in and month out, eh?!

just a quick question if anybody can answer it for me dose a dose increase in fluoxetine (prozac) cause any side effects? I'm going from 20mg per day to 40mg tonight due to the fact i'm feeling the 20mg isn't working as good as it has done for me.
About 5yrs.ago i had an accident where i was riding some trails and hit a rock and flew over my handlebars and hit a tree. I did go to a doctor to get checked and said i might have nerve damage but they never found any. I can get an erection for about 10 min. but lose it when i have intercourse with my girlfriend even oral. But if i stroke myself i can stay erect i bit longer. Also i had a mild stroke in 2006 i have seen a lot of meds.
Has anyone else experienced Monitor Side Effects? The following day after wearing the Monitor I experienced dizzy spells and light headedness. This was not suggestiveness as I never expected this reaction nor had anyone mentioned such a thing. And this surprise had nothing at all to do with why I was monitoring my heart. It persisted for two weeks while I was monitoring in the given manner. I took the Monitor off after that time and the dizzyness gradually went away.
