metrogel vag gel and alcohol

s finally clearing up, but my entire face was scratched up today, including the area I typically treat with metrogel. Is the metrogel safe to use on fresh scratches and sores to continue treatment. If so, would it be good to also put the metrogel on my entire face to help with all the scratch marks?

I doubt I have it or any infection but I noticed ONLY today that when I sit its very umcomfortable. And my vag has gotten pretty moist. Theres no odor or burning while I pee.... I absolutely hate calling the nurse trioge line because they dont know for sure what u have unless they check u. Last time I called them they said I had a yeast infection and I got checked n I didn't. Another time they said I had a uti and perscribed me meds.

I'll be 20 weeks Monday and my doctor also prescribed me Metronidazole Gel. I'm gonna take the second round tonight. I'd rather take it than not and experience the complications of having bv in the second trimester. I googled it first and it said bv untreated can cause premature rupture of membranes, preterm labor, and uterus infection. Just don't insert it all the way, as I do. My doctor said only about an inch.

I have a yeast infection might start my period soon and im on Fluconazole and metronidazole (2 pills 72 hours apart and metrogel for 5 days once every bed time) yesterday was my first day on pill and gel and today i notiched like this blood like little clumps nothing like discharge i want to know if its normal ?

Hi, I haver never had a problem with any type of facial flushing, redness, or skin feeling hot. A couple months ago my father was hospitalized and this is were it seemed to all start. I always had a problem with psoriasis on my knee's and elbows and I don't know if this is a form of it but I did get little plaques on my face that are gone now but the redness is still there. Can I use metrodizole gel for bv and use monistat creme for yeast infection at the same time.? One during day and 1 at night? Or both at night? I know I have both I just don't know if I can insert both into vagina at same time or once in morning and other at night?

So, this is the problem with antibiotics. They treat one thing and then bam, you get a yeast infection and have to treat that. Especially during pregnancy! My doctor prescribes duflucan which works well for me and is so easy to take for yeast. I'd get that script from your doctor if you have insurance that covers it. Know that a lot of this gets much better as soon as you have the baby. Congrats on the pregnancy by the way!

To respond to your question. Yes I do have the same partner and we only use condoms from time to time,but not all the time. I also forgot to mention I have used the gel before too, and the odor comes back even faster then when I use the tablets. I really don't know what to do.

Flagyl is metro only is pill for. Metro gel is a gel form of flagyl that u insert into your vagina. Both are said to be safe and are prescribed during pregnancy for bv.

Since you are at the tail end of your therapy anyway, you could probably get away with using the gel at night before bed and the gel during the day although it is not ideal, it is probably good enough.
