s finally clearing up, but my entire face was scratched up today, including the area I typically treat with metrogel. Is the metrogel safe to use on fresh scratches and sores to continue treatment. If so, would it be good to also put the metrogel on my entire face to help with all the scratch marks?
I'll be 20 weeks Monday and my doctor also prescribed me Metronidazole Gel. I'm gonna take the second round tonight. I'd rather take it than not and experience the complications of having bv in the second trimester. I googled it first and it said bv untreated can cause premature rupture of membranes, preterm labor, and uterus infection. Just don't insert it all the way, as I do. My doctor said only about an inch.
I was tested positive for HIV this February. I have been an occasional user of MDMA via syringe. I tested negative for Hepatitis B and C. During the first week of June, I suddenly came down with a fever which wouldn't go away. Later the doctors found a lesion on my liver, for which I was treated with Metronidazole (Metrogel) injections, and later metrogel tablets. Recent CT scan shows "a cystic lesion on the liver, measuring 4x3.5 cms with a smooth enhancing wall seen in segment IV.
I have seen improvement but am still not 100 percent clear, about 98 percent clear I would say. How long do I need to continue to use the metrogel to keep the dermatitis away for good? 2 months? Not sure how long I should use it. Also, I was on doxycycline however it upsets my stomach (with or without food) so I have to call my doctor on monday to try a different antibiotic. Anything you reccomend as far as an antibiotic?
Just started my period but have 2 more days of metronidazole. I only have tampons and I can't wear pads during certain activities in my next 2 days. I know I'm not supposed to use tampons with this medication but what happens if I do?
may be 3 to 4 liters on daily basis, and I tend to wash my private area when I urinate or poop, but I keep hearing that u shouldnt use too much water durig ur menstruation or even take regular baths..

It has now been 13 days on the Doxycycline (of a 30 day cycle total ) and 4 days applying the Metronidazole 0.75% gel only at night, once a day. Thankfully, there has been much improvement since then. So far, no more flareups, hardly any itching only when my skin gets too dry, and during the day when I don't use the Metrogel, my skin is not as red anymore (more pink or normal in color) or bumpy.
still no trace of menstruation.. im very worried.. and im very impatient waiting for my menstruation.. these days i experienced Abdominal cramps and bruises which i got normally before I get my period.. is it a good sign that im having menstruation??? or maybe im just streesed out and the climate is getting cold? maybe it aaffects my late menstruation... please help me anser these questions.. hope it will make me feel better.. im nervous..

m feeling some discomfort but nothing overwhelming, mostly just experience the pain during and after sex. I heard that metrogel can cause yeast infections, should I use the rest of the Terazol in case I have a yeast infection? What is causing the tear to reoccur.. yeast? I really want/need this all to go away!
We though I was delay and the blood occurred is a baby but the next few days I had my menstruation. After that menstruation cycle and every time we had a sex until the next months there is no bleeding occurred. My boyfriend friend's said that it was internal bleeding. Is he right or is there any problem in my vagina? I did not see or check any gynecologists about this matter because I'm afraid of the results.
I thought you could only take metrogel instead of flagyl while pregnant. I think i read that.

Variations included antibotic solution in morning and then on alternate evenings use Metrogel and Sodium product. Use Elidel only when scaling or peeling. Later at times, I'd simply mix the drugs on my palm like an artists palette with a dab of metrogel, a little Sodum and Elidel optional. Mix it with your finger and apply all at once. Hi. I'm almost 26 weeks pregnant I've had some type of bacterial infection for a couple weeks now. The Dr didn't say what kind exactly but probably bacterial vaginosis or something of the sort. My question is I tried metrogel twice as he said and it has not gone away. They aren't open until Monday should I go to the emergency room or wait until they can see me when I call Monday afternoon?
Hello~Some women get very bad pain during their cycle, however, it could also be due to endometriosis, having this can also make it very hard to conceive. I would have a doctor test you for this and if it turns out that you have it, there are some things they can do.
