Today in the early afternoon, following my third 25 mg dose of Atenolol at about 9 AM, I noticed some dizziness when I rose from a time sitting.
612551 tn?1450025775 Re: Dreams Forgot to mention I take 50Mg Metoprolol for since late 2010...3 1/2 years. So the dreams always happen, 99% joyful thank goodness. The metoprolol keeps my BP down successfully thank goodness. Had trouble with Lisinopril, Amlodipine, Doxazosin previously - would not work. I keep walking, and going to the gym 3x's a week, try to build muscle. I'm 59 1/2.
Avatar m tn Been in constant a-fib for a year- last electrocardioversion in Nov 2010 failed. Had a serious bleed on warfin, now on Dabigatron, 3 months, no problems. Not vrazy about having an ablation. Life/health generally good. 55 yars old. Can I expect to manage my A-Fib with rate control and Dabigatron without any problems?
Avatar f tn Thanks like I said his behavior has been on a steady rise since the begining of the first med in Jan. 2010 but this " voices" thing is new to me as of this week. I know when we had him tested for ADD/ADHD his regular pediatrician said that even if he had it there was nothing that they could put him on for his age and medication. Thanks and I need to make a list of his issues and make some phone calls it seems.
612551 tn?1450025775 The only indication I have of the blood oxygen saturation is if I am dizzy or breathless more than what I recall as normal. I have thought that it would be helpful to be able to measure the O2 level at those times and even to run a DIY sleep test (this in general would require a recording meter). When I saw this type instrument with a combined HR and O2 plus a pulse intensity readout for under $25 delivered I ordered one.
Avatar f tn Wow! This is eerie to suddenly come upon this thread. Had a heart attack at 45 in Jan '08, with 100% blockage of the LAD. They stented it. I had a rod like pain about the size of a 4" pencil to the left of my sternum - my cardiologist said it was nothing extraordinary. Had a lot of travel and work stress in Sep/Oct and I started getting intermittent pain traveling up the neck to the left side of my jaw. The pain also radiated to my left arm pit.
11849443 tn?1441306441 Can SVT be that quit onset and off? My Dr gave me some beta blockers to take, I have not taken them yet. 50mg of toprol (metoprolol) to take one time daily. I'm already taking blood pressure meds but he said to take both...WTF won't that make my BP way to low. My normal reading is 120/65 pulse usually 59-65. If I remember correctly my pac count was around 100 and my pvc was around 20. All this is a lot to take in and I'm pretty scared at this point. So here is my questions.
Avatar n tn This has continued and remained at this frequency and we are now about 31 hours post ablation. His dr prescribed metoprolol XL, which did nothing to help the situation today, so has changed to Rythmol. My husband has the misfortune of being able to feel every flutter, PVC, pause, everything--which we've been told is rare, most people who experience them don't even know they're happening--makes me wonder if many patients have this post-ablation and just do not know it.
Avatar n tn If I have to do it again, I hope my heart can wait for the newer cryo catheter to get FDA approval in Jan 2010! All the best to all of you. and if high heart rate post ablation is something that you all have experienced, please give a shout! Just call me Tachy Afraidy! Oh, I am 44 and was active until this hit me on Christams Day! I have an excellent cardiologist, but we all have to be our own spokespersons for how our body feels.
61536 tn?1340701763 If so, did it help, make them worse or cause no change? Metoprolol but could not tolerate this. Then Cardizem which worked really well for about 4 months. 13. Do you have a non-cardiac condition that causes or irritates your PVCs (thyroid, hormone problems)? No. 14. What have you found that HELPS your PVCs (symptoms/anxiety)? This can be meditation, vitamin supplements, anxiety medication, exercise - anything that helps you deal.
687079 tn?1230952212 The short time I was Hypo though, I do not recall having any, my pulse was down in the 50 and 60s. I was always cold and had no energy and memory was dreadful. I would have to hear or read something a million times before it registered. Good advice here, I wonder how much damage this may have done to my ticker?
Avatar n tn illness, after which you have not since felt well. (If it was mild, you may not even recall this.
