Metoprolol package insert

Common Questions and Answers about Metoprolol package insert

toprol

Avatar n tn There are no side effects in the package insert that relate to the side effects you are describing. While it is unknown why your mom is experiencing these side effects, it is unlikely they are directly related to the medicine, unless this is a side effect that has not previously been reported.
Avatar f tn My understanding is that betapace or sotalol cannot be substituted for the AF version but the AF versioin can be subbed for the non AF version because the package insert does have everything that the AF package insert has plus the A-fib information
Avatar f tn (I like that I didn't have to lobby my wish to change beta blockers.) So I stopped (instantly, despite what the package insert says for Sotalol) those and the next day went on 2.5 mg of Bisoprolol in the morning plus 150 mg of Fleicainide at night. The package inserts in the latter state to NEVER take these two medications together but the pharmacist says that they can be associated, you just need to be aware that the side effects may be increased with the two being used together.

221122 tn?1323014865 I could not do the stress echo because I could barely stand, I also had a holter and this brings me to your question about PPI's. I was on Protonix and had the same problem. If you read the package insert on all the PPI's they have Cardiac side effects. If you ask your MD they say no way. All I know is you are correct in what you are feeling from the Prevacid, protonix and prilosec. Sorry for the long answer. I am just really stressed out.

1397648 tn?1288146526 It is taking me a week to get back because it is surgery. They have cut several areas of my chest to insert the scopes into my body to do the procedure. Combine that with the anesthtic and new meds and it knocks you for a loop, temporarily. I am on the meds, warifin, beta blocker, diuretic to handle some of the post operative issues, fluids and the help the heart regulate rate and rhythum while it heals. It is going to take some time for my heart to function normally.
