metoprolol hcl

I was switched from Atelenol to Metoprolol and now I have atrial fibrillation all the time. What is going on? Should I ask to be put back to Atelenol?

so i started experiencing pvcs and having high blood pressure back in june or july and the high blood pressure went away when taking metoprolol and it didnt help with the pvcs. i know they are harmless but i wore a 30 day monitor and it showed i had frequent and bigeminal pvcs and grant it, i have them from morning till night without ever stopping. My doctor put me on sotalol hcl 80mg and is planning on taking me off in three months and see if it gets better.

The Symptoms for the over production of HCL, and the under production of HCL, are virtually identical. The both cause Reflux, Belching, Bloating, Abdominal Discomfort, Irrecular Stools, etc. Unfortunately many doctors are prescribing Proton Pump Inhibitors or pH Blocking Medications to their Patiens which is making them Achlorhydric.

I tested positive but I am allergic to Fluoxetine Hcl, Diphenhydramine Hcl, Doxycycline, Venlafaxine Hydrochloride, Fluoxetine, Azithromycin and Amoxicillin-Pot Clavulanate. What antibiotic can I take to treat this? Amoxicillin?

Apple cider vinegar is a way to cleanse the body and balance acid and alkaline, but it doesn't increase stomach acid on a permanent basis. Betaine HCL is used for gallstones, not for stomach acidity, since it doesn't do that either. The reason is that neither stays in the stomach, so it can't permanently alter the acid/alkaline balance. The caution about HCL is more about using pure HCL food grade.

Hi my doctor prescribed paroxetine hcl but i hate taking peels has anyone been on these , does it work?

i just found out that i am pregnant but when i went to the doctor he had exam me and he say im 7 weeks pregnant but since i dont know my last menstrual cycle he had me go for a sonogram they could not see anything . so he did a blood test for my hcl level and it came back 1080 now he wants me to go for another sonogram tmrw . is there something wrong please help ..

Have a bad headache and no pain meds at home. Have a little of the Buprenorphine hcl left from when my cat was neutered. It was given to him orally at a dose of 0.3cc. Hi, Thanks for your encouragement. It wasn't tile cleaner. It was muriatic acid which is industrial grade hcl. I was just worried (and still am a little). I do know that the stomach contains hcl (my undergrad was a double math bio major but thanks)... I hope I don't worry this much about EVERYTHING during my pregnancy...

I just wanted it clarified so somebody doesn't start chugging HCL. The part for digestion is Betaine HCL, not plain HCL. Plain HCL is hard to deal with.

Is there a difference from the hcl tablets and the ones without hcl? It seems like the tablets before (the ones without the hcl) were a little bit stronger than the ones I take now that have hcl after the Oxycodone. Thanks.

Im already on 100 mg 1 time a day of extended release Metoprolol.....and I think, just to appease me, because ive had a couple really really bad days of almost nonstop palps..he said to increase my Metoprolol to 1 100mg tablet in the morning...and 1 100mg tablet at night. Anyone EVER been on such a huge dose before??? I trust him...but yet....Im scared to take that much!!! ANY info on SVC OR Metoprolol would be appreciated!

I have taken Toprol xl 25 mg for about 5 years. My doctor switched me to metoprolol several months ago. When I filled my prescription this time, it was from a different mfg and I think I may be having problems with it as I just don't feel right. Could changing the mfg make a difference? ALSO, my doctor prescribed 50 mg to be cut in half for my prescribed 25 mg dose. Does cutting this tablet in half compromise the time release?
