methadone yahoo answers

Im trying to tamper down on my methadone, i have such a strong earge to take another pill,,, how can i over come this earge without loosing my mind and giving in

t start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.

I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.

So I usually ask yahoo answers for help...which this time I was not thankful for. I needed help with this one question that I CAN'T find in my textbook. I got to responses saying I was lying, that I won't succeed in life, that I'm pathetic for asking a homework question like this. I feel terrible and now can't even study because of what they said...can someone just...idk cheer me up? I try so hard in college and now I'm so stressed with finals I can't take it anymore.

I take up to 20 pills of 10mg of Methadone an 5 0r 6 mg of lorazapam all together a day, for at least 9+ yrs plus. I take my depression pill too cant think what it is starts with a p I think paxile or something. but I am wondering what the best way to get off this I have had some pretty wild withdraws that I don't even want to talk about but if someone who has been in this situation and got out of it.

I have never taken methadone, but I did have a big problem with taking opiate painkillers, mainly vicodin. I think the best thing to do is first decide if u are ready to completely stop, including the methadone, since that is an opiate (i think). If u are, I would prepare yourself for w/ds. You may or may not get any, but even if u do, it won't last very long, and in the long run, I promise you it is much better being off these pills.

People online have said it can cause brain damage but is this only possible through intentional huffing? People on yahoo answers were apparently trolling me and telling me i had damaged myself, which i think is horrible since i'm suffering from severe anxiety.

methadone is a great drug, for people whom Suboxane doesnt work.

Can doctors give methadone to a baby that is NOT born to a drug addicted mother? What if the baby is premature with some complications plus on other medications? I have researched on the internet and can't find anything about this. All I can find is if the baby was born to drug addicted mothers. I would like to know what other neonatologists think about using this drug on infants. I'm trying to understand this situation I'm in. Thank you!

There Ive done a series of shots( in my lumbar spine) and was given several different pain pills to try( vic, tramadol,oxycotin,oxycodone,perc,methadone) the only one that seemed to work without side affects and take the pain away is perc. I started at 5mg,then7 then 10. I was willing to try any other form of treatment offered to get better so i wouldnt have to take the pills long term, but seems like besides the shots and therapy there isnt any other options(besides surgery.

m still here and tappering. I did not know anything about getting off of methadone and found it is harder than anything!! I thought i would just quit and flush my pills at 30mg but I chickend out and am tappering and am at 20mg right now and ready for another tapper. I just wanted some of you to know that your responses were very helpful and I did not go away and to anyone else going threw this hang in there. I have had a terrible cold, body aches and anxiety, I have gotten threw this.

t do any good to raise the bupe until you get some of that methadone processed out. You are feeling w/drawals from the methadone and raising the bupe won't stop that I don't think. That's amazing that you weren't weaned down lower on the dones before you were inducted on the bupe! Maybe someone that knows more about this will chime in.....

Hi sweet. Welcome. I don't have any experience with methadone, but insomnia is a factor in opiate wd. I still have good night's and not so good 40+ days out. I try to keep a bedtime routine. Hot soak in the tub, sleepy time tea, and melatonin. I take valerian root sometimes too, but it says it can be "uncomfortable" to stop. So I don't take every day. In the beginning I took lunesta. But honestly it didn't really help.

The internet is not always a reliable source of info, certainly not Yahoo Answers. Anyone can claim anything. You don't need testing. You never had a risk. Kindly move along.

the doctors at the hosptial i go to tell you what you wanna hear. i didnt read it on google it was on yahoo on a medical website so im sure they aint lying about having a like period when pregnant. i had an ultra sound done and im waiting to find out the results but the doctors cant find my chart.
