Are there programs or doctors that help people detox that do not have insurance? I really do want and need someone to help me but I don't know anything about this or where to go to get help. Is there anyone out there that can give me some guidance on this? Thank you in advance....

I am not sure how to answer this one. You have went to treatment programs and taking methadone but you are only using for pain and not getting high. Guilt is a horrible feeling and there has to be a reason for it. Have you tried other alternatives for your pain. Is it possible for you to live without using and deal with the pain. P.S. Good for you on quitting smoking, i need to quit that disgusting habit, but i am afraid, lol.

Has anyone on this forum been on treatment while being prescribed methadone? I'd like to hear from anyone who has done this SVR or not. I'm waiting to get accepted into a trial, the methadone limits my placement also another drug, I'm currently prescribed. The only one they were really concerned with was the methadone, I'm not in a maintenence program but I would like to hear from anyone.

i do about 1 - 200 dollars of h a day. I've been on methadone for a long time as well. About 4 yrs. I stopped taking the methadone unfortunately and started back on the h. Now I get my methadone from my private doctor, and when I try to take like 50mg a day a detox like a mofo. Anyone know how to get into 90 day programs paid by the state? im from IL. Chicagoland. I also have insurance that covers 90 day programs apparently. any advice?

reading on Neupogen and have read that although it is not FDA approved for the treatment of,HCV, no generics being manufactured and is quite expensive. Are there assistance programs out there to assist with cost of Neupogen if my Dx prescribes. I am on a basic health program and co-pay 50% for all meds.
