Im suppose to be staring clomid and my doctor said it would cost me up to 1600 is this information correct because i thougth that the medication was cheap could somebody give me feed back on how much?

I got pregnant the first month that I took metformin with out clomid but it was a tubal pregnancy and had to be removed. I am now pregnant again from the combination. I know metformin, without insurance at Walmart is only $5 for a months prescription. If you can afford to go to the doctor once more for this it might help! I agree with the previous poster. The medicine is called Metformin. I had the same issue. I was put on Metformin and conceived on my first month of Clomid.

I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now and i recently found out i had pcos. i was put on metformin but the side effects are so uncontrollable i cant stick to them they make my cycle come on should i sfick to them has anyone who was put on the concieved. someone was telling me to try geritol i think im gonna go to walmart and start taking it as well anyone concieved on geritol is the liquid better.

Anyone use this brand? Since its only $10 at walmart, I wonder about accuracy. Test strips are more affordable too than the others..

If you already have a current rx, Walmart has extremely low cost prescriptions for many common medications. I think they charge only 4 dollars, something like that.

I am eating healthy and trying to do everything right. I take Metformin 500mg 2x a day and will start 1000mg 2x a day in a couple more days. I also have RA, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and Hyperplasia. Could you explain why this is happening or what I can do about it? The best meter is the one they use at the hospital I forget the brand/modle number. Im sure they can tell you. Cost about $5,000 and $5.00 a test strip. Walmart has meters for $14.99 and $26 for 100 test strips. ALL meters sold to the public have to be %20 accurate 90% of the time. My Best meter is the one the insurance will cover the cost of the test strips.

Some maintenance meds like metformin are free through companies like Publix, other meds are on the $4 generic lists at places like Walgreens and Walmart. Also, call you doctor's office they may have samples or information on money saving offers for the meds you take.

I have no direct experience with the medications you mention, but can say my insurance requires (or I pay a big cost penalty) me to use generic drugs. These are, however, US distributed. I believe many people buy drugs from Canada to save money, but I have my doubts about the quality of anything that can be ordered over the Internet without a prescription...assuming a prescription is required in the US.

They require a prescription, but the generic Warfarin is available at very low cost, e.g., Walmart. The bigger cost for being on an anticoagulant is getting the blood tests to be sure the level of medication is right. But given you can't take aspirin (did you take them with food?), there doesn't seem to be another choice. I do not know anything about Ginseng...but be careful with herbs, some can be dangerous.

I have pcos and i am on metformin 1700 a day....my peroid come and go the most i have had regular is 4 mothis in a roll since i started the metformin, but I am still not ovulating i know doc tested my progetrin level i think and I didnt even register a whole number it was like 0.01 something like that he had me/ to come in on the 21st day something like that. can someone take birth control and metformin to conter dict the bc? i know i have high testosterone levels too.
