A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. My wife has been experiencing irregular menstrual cycle for the last 06 months. She is 34 year old.
After having checked with doctor and subsequent test, she found thyroid problem.
She started taking medicines as per dr prescription for the last 5 days.
She was expecting her periods on Dec 20 this time but she started light spoting from Jan 03. After 03 - 04 days she started heavy bleeding with medium size blood clots.
I am worried and seek advise.

If you started your period on the 14th i would say your probably not pregnant and your period just came a couple days early. If your spotting and the bleeding is very light and not like a normal period, it could be implantation bleeding which happens around the time of your normal period. Id start by taking a pregnancy test. If it comes up negative and your still unsure, wait a week and take another one. If its negative again and your still concerned, call your doctor and request a blood test.
but if you're bleeding brown and its not your regular menstrual cycle. it could be implantation bleeding. but I'm not sure about that. wait to see if you're going to get a regular menstrual cycle if you don't then take a pregnancy test or go see your doctor.
And this month i got my periods on 18th, two days delayed(the due date was on 16th). But the period is very light and lasted only for some 2 days and the bleeding was not as usual! Any chances that i am still pregnant? Can anyone explain me the difference between menstrual cycle and implant bleeding?
We had intercourse on the 12th, 13th and 14th day of my cycle. On the 23rd day of my cycle I started having spotting that was brown, stringy and very light, though enough to stain my underwear. This spotting was not accompanied by any cramping or bloating, usual menstrual symptoms for me. This lasted until the 24th day, then suddenly stopped. I also had a stuffy nose for those two days that disappeared as quickly as it came, also rare for me.

EXAMPLE DAY 21 SORE, DAY 22 GONE. WHY WOULD THIS HAPPEN? I KNOW I HAVE TO WAIT TO TAKE A TEST BUT IS PREGNANCY A POSSIBILITY.
I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. last tuesday the 15th had such light light bleeding less blood than a cat scratch, and then very very light pinkish brown spotting this all lasted maybe 6 hours.
on the 17th i went and had a sensi pregnancy urine test which came up negitive.
