menstrual-cycle

Avatar f tn Ovulation does not occur during your menstrual cycle. Because the sperm can live in the body from 3-5 days, pregnancy can occur from having intercourse DURING your period. Estimated ovulation occurs anyhwere between 11-21 days following your menstrual cycle, or 12-16 from when you expect your next cycle. However there is no one way to pin point ovulation. It generally differs from woman to woman. All the best.
Avatar f tn Ovulation, and therefore conception, occur 14 days before your period was due and you can get pregnant from making love up to 5-6 days before ovulation happens. If you have a 28-day menstrual cycle -- which is assumed by many healthcare providers -- that means that you ovulated on day 14. If your cycle is a few days longer, you probably ovulated after day 14, and your baby may arrive a few days after your estimated due date.
Avatar n tn The fertile period of a woman is determined by analyzing her menstrual cycle with an ovulation calculator or fertility chart. On an average the menstrual cycle is a 28 day cycle. During the 14th day after a period, the ovum is released.12 to 16 days after a period is said to be a woman’s most fertile period. For more queries and assistance visit a gynecologist. I sincerely hope it helps. Best luck and kind regards!
Avatar n tn Your ovulation time is usually about 7 days after your period, depending on how normal your menstrual cycle is... Doctors calculate your due date and how far along you are according to the first day of your last menstrual cycle... And if your last period was in October, then you definitely concieved in October since September is a month before October...
Avatar f tn First Day of Last Menstrual Period: June 30, 2013 Probable Date of Ovulation: July 14, 2013 Possible Dates of Conception: July 10 to July 18, 2013 Except I had a period in July???, ...
1385697 tn?1279557599 Most women do make the mistake of counting the last day of their period as the first day of their cycle, but actually the first day of the period is cycle day one. Typically ovulation occurs sometime around cycle day 11-16. The menstrual period is always 14 days after ovulation--if it occurs. For couples trying to conceive, we recommend testing for ovulation with ovulation predictors starting on cycle day 10 or 11, and then test until positive.
Avatar m tn I started my last menstrual cycle on July 7th. My husband & I had unprotected sex on the 9th, 11th, 14th, & 17th. My ovulation calculator says that I am not due to ovulate until the 19th-25th...so now I'm getting nauseaus, could cry on the drop of a hat & very tired. Could I be pregnant?? Is it possible to get pregnant before my ovulation date??? Could I be experiences signs this early? I have two other kids. Thanks!
Avatar m tn Hi. Me and my girlfriend had sex last night (July 9 ) and unfortunately the condom we were using got left inside after I came inside it and pulled out. She took 4 Trust pills around 20 minutes after, and 4 again 12 hours after that first dosage. We are concerned because we think that some semen was on the finger which i used to retrieve the condom and that maybe there was some spillage as I felt for the condom inside.
Avatar n tn If you want the date(s) where you are highly fertile I recommend doing an ovulation calculator which can be found online. Just plug in the numbers you listed. Best of luck!
Avatar f tn I had sex on the 18/20th of November and we used a condom and I know it didn't break. I checked my ovulation calculator and it said I stop ovulating on the 17th. I haven't gotten my period but I have been cramping. I just wanted to know is there such thing as an invisible period? My aunt thinks I am pregnant but I know it can't be that. My last period started on November 1st. My menstrual cycles never flowed correctly before I started having sex on the 18th.
Avatar f tn This means your last period before getting pregnant is not a reliable measure of when you ovulated. Ovulation begins the cycle of the next period, it does not get triggered by the last period. A woman could have her last period five months earlier, and then pop out an egg, and the ultrasound would still be able to look at the embryo and know when it was conceived. It would not say she was 5 months pregnant, and neither would the woman's doctor once he saw the embryo's measurements.
1523981 tn?1311318595 So I keep close track of my cycle and ovulation. we did have sex while I was ovulating and just for fun I tried a pregnancy due date calculator and using the first day of last cycle said I would already be 2 weeks pregnant. Just wondering how you can be pregnant 2 weeks before you ovulate and only 3 days after your period just ended. I tried multiple websites and they all the same thing. It just doesn't make sense to me or my husband.
Avatar n tn There are many things that can change a cycle late ovulation, usually caused by stress, change of diet, many things.your cycle is still in normal range.but yes i can see how it effects you trying to concieve.have you tried vitamin B6 this is good for getting your cycle on track,as for trying for 6 months with no success.that is a short time really.can take couples years to concieve.however since your cycle is a bit wacky,i would concentrate on getting that regular first.
Avatar f tn The chance of getting pregnant revolves around your ovulation cycle. You can look it up on an ovulation tracker. Put in when your periods are and it will tell you when your best/worst chance at getting pregnant is basically.
Avatar f tn So even with the results of my scans there is still no way of knowing? thoughdating scans were very accurate.
Avatar f tn My last menstrual cycle was dec 20 and the previous one nov 13. As yall can read it was a 37 day cycle, im a lil bit irregular but I do have a period every month. I have been ttc for the past 4 months and nothing. On my previous months I get all the pregnancy symptoms but they dissappear. This month has been a little bit different.
Avatar f tn i went online and used a ovulation calculator to see when i ovulated and it said that my highly fertile days were JUne 6 - June 10. me & my boyfriend had sexual relations on june 10th, he said the condom popped. the ovulation calculator also said that my next period should be on June 22nd and that i should take a test on the 23rd. im not sure how correct that is but i was wondering what are your thoughts on the situation?
Avatar f tn Track your cycle by just taking your waking temperature each morning before you get out of bed. Best to take it at the same time every day but definitely first thing in the morning when you wake up. Start taking it as soon as your period starts and write it down every day. You will notice when your temperature goes up that you have just ovulated. Also you can track your cervical mucus/fluid...
Avatar f tn Here is an Email I received concerning this subject: When is the best time to have intercourse if we're trying to conceive? Timing is everything. Sperm can live for two to three days, but the egg is around for only 12 to 24 hours. To increase the likelihood of conception, it's important to have intercourse more than once around the time of ovulation. It is a good idea to have sex one to two days before ovulation and again on the day you ovulate.
