I tried filling out a ovulation calendar so that i will have some help getting pregnant. How do i know how long my menstrual cycle lasts for?. Being that i wasnt too sure i put the average of 28 days.

I'm a 31 year old mother of 4 boys ages 13 11 8 & 3. My menstrual cycle has never been the typical "28 day cycle". Even birth control made it worse at times. I decided last year in October to get off birth control because I didn't like the effects it had on my body. Once off the birth control I didn't have a menstrual cycle until March. Since then my cycle has lasted for two weeks at a time sometimes more. This month I've been on it for 30 days. And heavy!

Its counted as 40 weeks in entirity but since that counts from your last menstrual cycle (which is normally 2weeks before you even conceived and 2more weeks for implantation) it comes down to 9 months of pregnancy. Make sense? By time you have an embryo, there's 9 mths to go! If your counting from cytoplast or zygote then its 10/months!
