menstrual cycle getting heavier

I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?

I'm 42 and starting to get worried about this long cycle that seems to be getting a bit heavier instead of lighter. On 7/14 I started my cycle which was nothing unusual but here I am still on it almost 11 days later. Peri menopause? The blood is not heavy or light, sort of what it's usually like mid cycle and it's bright red. Around day 7 it seemed to be letting up a bit but now it seems to be getting a tiny bit heavier every day, not heavy just heavier.

and i never had spotting like that before period or inbetween, just spotting for a day beforeperiod and heavy flow next day, but right now its just a little bit of spotting, few brown drops and not getting heavier

many women describe light bleeding that is small amount of blood drops as spotting which can be red starting of menstrual cycle, pinkish discharge possible pregnancy or if not trying then possible infection. brownish discharge again possible pregnancy or start of menstrual cycle in which when blood is shown in air it changes it colour looking like really old blood. Heavy bleeding is heavy bleeding which is also determined in various ways.

After a miscarriage will have have a period after 4-6 weeks. Has this happened??? Mine period came after 24 days and it was a much ligher/shorter period cycle and now it's more heavier, but it's still within the normal range. I would see ur doctor if ur concerned.

The bleeding is from the plan B pill. Side effects from the pill are what seem to be pregnancy signs but really are not. Just treat the bleeding g like a normal menstrual cycle. If it doesn't end in 7 days talk to your doctor. You may experience nauseous and vomiting and headaches. It ***** but you'll be fine nothing to worry about. You obviously can get pregnant at anytime even after your menstrual cycle, heck women can get pregnant while they're pregnant. Is it rare?

And another question does one menstrual cycle changes after an ectopic pregnancy because right now my menstrual cycle as gone haywire it is much heavier than it was and it has gone over the days that it normally does. Thanks for advice and waiting for your answer in regards to these question.

The chance of getting pregnant revolves around your ovulation cycle. You can look it up on an ovulation tracker. Put in when your periods are and it will tell you when your best/worst chance at getting pregnant is basically.

can take couples years to concieve.however since your cycle is a bit wacky,i would concentrate on getting that regular first.once this is sorted then concieveing should be easy.since you will know your ovulation.failing that bed from cd12 onwards.until you are confident you have ovulated.there are plenty of signs you can use to confirm ovulation,all the best.

But if you want peace of mind, do a pregnancy test. I would not worry about the spotting at this point as occasional menstrual irregularities are not unusual.

Treatment, and HCV, all had an impact on my menstrual cycle. In my first treatment I did have one or two "heavier" bleeds that seemed to last a little longer than usual, possible due to my blood being thinner whilst on tx. On my 2nd treatment my periods stopped altogether and haven't returned. As the liver is integral in the production of hormones this was not surprising to me. I believe I have had an early menopause due to having and HCV and treating HCV.

You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.

Sorry I just have to vent...... So I started spotting 9dpo AGAIN, This is my 2nd cycle on vitex and still having this nasty brown stuff before my period..... Why am I still spotting? And this month is heavier then last month and it's more of a thick nasty brown then just watery brown when I wipe... Arrrrgghhhhhh so frustrating.... This is month 4 of trying and still no luck.....

Hormonal treatments can wreak havoc on the menstrual cycle. The spotting you are now experiencing may just be a result of the hormones. As for how you can stop it, I don't know what to tell you. If it continues, or gets heavier, it may just be your period. If you are still concerned, going to a doctor would not be such a bad idea.

I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.

my periods were heavier with cramps. Starting september they got lighter with no cramps, colour changed to a bright red. Not thick it also starts off with this brown discharge then turns onto light bright red bleeding then gets heavier as days go.. I have the same problems that you do or did with my cycle. I’ve been ignoring my abnormal cycle for a year already. I was just thinking that my body was starting to go through the change & it was like a Big Bang period blowout. But it still hasn’t stopped flowing. I will wake up drenched & my bed & bedding ruined every month atleast once. (My bed is peroxide drunk & I don’t think my bed can handle anymore peroxide.

The bleeding started off light/spotting and then it started getting a little more heavier this morning and then it went normal and now its light again! Please help!

we had a failed ivf in febuary, and im almost at first menstrual cycle after treament, i have had lower back pains, cramps in both ovaries and wondering what these are, im a 35 day cycle, so could it be ov, or period, dont know what to make of it but feeling uncomfortable, has anybody else experienced this please help
