Avatar n tn Do you mean your menstrual cycle? Is it unusually short, like 21 days? I am not on meds, but I've found it curious that I went from 30-33 day cycles to <24 days in the last year, the same time I've been having odd physical symptoms that are likely related to my thyroid. Certainly an interesting idea though.
2174396 tn?1337605170 Hello, Normal menstrual cycle may vary from 21-35 days and hence your menstrual cycles are absolutely normal. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Avatar f tn My period cycle used to be every 29 days, then it went to every 38 days and now it comes when it wants to. Sometimes they are very heavy and sometimes they are very light, sometimes it is just spotting. I have went to the dr numerous times and I was told it is nothing to worry about. If you are to worried got to a local women's center or local health dept and get an exam done. I wouldn't worry about it though.
Avatar f tn Some women hav their menstrual cycle every 28 days and others a few more days than that.
Avatar f tn Hello, Such discharge could be due to physiological reasons like rise of hormone level (oestrogen) which is seen- during puberty, menstrual cycle, sexual excitement, pregnancy etc. It could be also seen in poor personal hygiene, non-infective cervical lesions, uterine prolapse, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, use of contraceptive pills, onset of vaginal infection or sexually transmitted disease etc.
1147609 tn?1263583431 My menstrual cycle was 25 days two months ago and 23 days this cycle. Now here's the background: I've always have perfect 28-day cycles. I could even judge with quite a bit of accuracy whether they would begin in the morning or in the evening. After a second trimester miscarriage three years ago, they went back to normal in two cycles. After the birth of my son (and while breastfeeding) they went back to normal in two months.
Avatar n tn While the average menstrual cycle is typically 28 days, a normal menstrual cycle ranges from 21-35 days for adults and 21-45 days for young teens. However, if you have had unprotected sex and feel you could be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test.
Avatar f tn I do have mastrual bleeding every moths but sometimes its 5 days earlier than due date and some times 2 to 4 days earlier, due to which it is hard to calculatemy ovulation day.can anyone tell if my period cycle is regular or irregular ???
2187580 tn?1338053554 Go see a doctor as it's not normal. You should have your period about once every 28 days (or slightly shorter/longer) lasting no longer than 7 days. You may need to look into taking some birth control pills to help regulate your period so something like this doesn't happen, but if this is the only time it has, your doctor may decide to have you track it.
Avatar f tn I am facing issues in menstrual cycle since last 6 months, It comes delays, I have a boy friend we did not sex yet I am facing issues my menstrual cycle delays for 6 to 8 days every month I am worried, what should I do.
Avatar f tn Hello, What you are having is menorrhagia. Normally the period stays for 3-7 days and comes in 21 to 35 days. However sometimes normal periods can be irregular. The causes of menorrhagia could be due to bleeding disorders, vitamin K deficiency, excess usage of aspirin, hormonal imbalance, stress, fibroids, recent intra uterine devices (like copper-T)etc. So I will like to advise for internal examination with gynecologist and take opinion.
Avatar f tn Whats happening to my cycle! At first i thought maybe and hopefully this is implantation bleeding for couple weeks i seemed to be waking up wanting to throw up, tired all the time, moody, headaches/dizziness spells, low in energy and crampy then a couple days ago my boobs got more tender and my nipples went darker and on the 26th (four days ago) I noticed i had a very light browny white dischage and by the next day it was abit darker with pink blood when i whipped that lasted only two times.
Avatar f tn Hormones play a crucial role in regulating your menstrual cycle. Even slight imbalances can cause delays or irregularities. Underlying Health Conditions: Conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) can cause irregular periods. Since you're concerned about fertility and menstrual health, you might find pcosferticure.com a useful resource.
Avatar n tn Hello, Menstrual cycles are considered normal from 21 to 35 days. However stress can also make periods irregular. Other causes of irregular periods could be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, chronic illness, polycystic ovarian disease, thyroid gland disorders or diseases, pituitary gland tumors or cyst, galactorrhea, prolactinomas etc. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar n tn I WOULD GET THESE HORRYIFYING EPISODES OF DIARREAH, I WOULS BE SWEATING PROFUSELY AND IN PAIN FOR HOURS. IT DIDNT HAPPEN OFTEN EVERY FEW MONTHS JUST ONE OR TWO DAYS EACH TIME. HOWEVER, WITH IN THE LAST 11 MONTHS HAVE LOST 40 POUNDS (SIZE 8 TO A SIZE 2) W\O TRYING. I WEIGH LESS TODAY THAN I DID IN 5TH GRADE, I DONT LOSE WEIGHT (I HAVE PCOS). Avatar f tn s potentially fertile days have been based on two assumptions—that ovulation occurs 14 days before the next menses and that women are fertile for several days before and after ovulation.15 It follows that in the usual menstrual cycle lasting 28 days, the fertile days would fall between days 10 and 17.15 The assumptions are, however, outdated. Firstly, only a small percentage of women ovulate exactly 14 days before the onset of menses.
1582332 tn?1296924865 Yes, your cycles and discomfort sounds just like me. I just turned 41 and have also been wondering if I am entering early menopause because of my health issues and all of the medications. All the doctors act like it is normal. I have a period and then 10 days later another. The cramps and headaches are awful. then I won't have a period for 45 days. I cant figure it out but I too wonder if it is all related. Mine has been going on for over a year.
Avatar f tn For about a year now I have had severe pain during my cycle. I did't have these pains before but now I can't stand to get out of bed during this time. I have headaches the day before that puts me down then my period starts the next day. It's not like a cramp it is a constant pain so I take motrin every 4 hours for at least 2 days. If I don't take the motrin I can't get up. I still hurt but I can walk.
Avatar n tn Hi, I believe you're still in the 'normal' range; average menstrual cycle occurs between 21 to 35 days. It's not unusual for women who have regular cycles, to have an irregular cycle every once in awhile. Keep in mind that if you become stressed about your period being late, it can possibly delay your period even longer. If you're concerned about the risk of pregnancy, taking a test is the most accurate way to get a definite answer.
Avatar f tn Like how many days the cycle is? Do you mean your whole entire time or does it go by how many days you have your period for? I have mine for 4-5 days. What if I don't know how long my cycle is? What can I do to figure it out?
Avatar m tn Thanks louieforlaughs that was really helpful. MJREY i appreciate your effort.
Avatar n tn Is that why you are concerned cause you do know when you ov or you just what to know exactly what day your period is going to come, bc same rules apply when my cycle comes, I count 11 days from day one then I test with opk to make sure I'm ov'in which I do every mth, no matter how off my cycle is.
