Hi, i had a failed ivf in april and was wondering how long after that negative result did everyone had to wait for their period? I have never been regular untill i had my dd in 2006. I'm not sure if i was every 28 days (i didn't bother keeping note), but them once a month and so it has been nearly 5wks since my flow. Before the ivf attempt, we had a canceled cycle, so i was on the pill for that 2mths to de regulate for the cycles, do you think my body is out of wake?.
I was scheduled for ivf this month but we stopped my stim meds due to 3 follicals not as large or muture as my dominate follical. So after I start my menstrual cycle we will do a follical count on day 2 and start over. After two failed iui's I'm hoping this will work for us. We also are dealing with low sperm count. So wish us luck!!!!!!!!!
my RE staff just called me yesterday for the comming cycle protocol. I'm spotting today, maybe tomorrow will be my first day of AF since my tube got removed on Feb 17. I tried naturelly 2 weeks ago when I ovulated. I know my only change to be pregnant thru IVF but could not effort the 4th one now even given me 10% discount on basic IVF cycle (about $700 off), insurance does not cover IVF. I'm turn in 39 soon and don't know what to do next.
Hi I recently had a failed ivf cycle. My cycle was cancelled after egg retrieval due to no fertilization. After stopping the meds I had the regular bleed my doctor told me about. Now on this following cycle I tested positive on an opk day 15. My period is now five days late and I have had cramping on and off for a week and a half. Is it normal for your period to be late after a failed ivf even if I ovulated normally?
Thanks Guys for your responds, but i have only done one cycle of ivf which the results were negative, 3 days later after i did the test i got my period. i am not doing another cycle yet. but my body feels like as if i am on the 2nd cycle. Would it be possible that my hormones are wack?? my gut feeling says i could be pregnent, but i am do scard to do another test incase it is negative again. I suppose i wait couple of weeks and see what happens.
I will be starting my 3rd IVF cycle this month after having 2 failed cycles this year. I am 36 YO and conceived twins naturally in 08', after only one month of trying. I have diminished ovarian reserve and although I had 4 embryos this last transfer, (we implanted 2 with the hopes of success), I again had a failed attempt Has anyone had success after 2 failed cycles. I am losing hope. (I also did 3 failed IUIs). Thanks!
Our clinic does the consult before starting another cycle. I think they would do one after a failed one...to answer any questions...but I remember not wanting to step into the clinic for a bit after failing...feeling so discouraged...but after a few days of letting myself be down...I was ready to get it going again (but of course, they do charge for each and every one!! ugh). A consult could and should answer questions...but don't go unless you want to!
