Avatar n tn (I am 26) And also, I have learned that your skin, hair and menstrual cycle changes every 7 years. So if you find anything that helps the forhead acne let me know!! For a bit I used Nivea face wash and cream and it helps a little.

Avatar f tn however I am a seasoned ob-rn. The extra drainage you explain could be anything from noting but changes after childbirth. Have you brought this up with your OB-GYN? Sometimes dfferent infections and STDs can cause different types of drainage. I would encourage you to call you Dr. and at least talk to the nurse at their office.

Avatar f tn Because your mother developed hers after childbirth and they seem to be linked to her menstrual cycle/hormones... I bet hers are body chemistry related. At one point my neuro had suggested I take Amerge two or three days prior to that monthly time... and at the time I had so many triggers it didn't work for me. But people that get them regularly, like almost on schedule, they can take one of the more long-lasting, slow release triptans to try and hold off the onset of the migraine.

Avatar f tn I'm in the process of receiving AI. My mentrual cycle is 28 days, however after my first AI Procedure I've had a second cycle in the same month! (Full blown bleeding). Going forward, which cycle do I now calculate from, the first one, or this second one? And it obviously now means, I've lost the "egg" and didn't "take"...? Is it necessary to still do a pregnancy test?

Avatar n tn You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.
Avatar f tn my menstral cycle was to start on the 27th but light pinkish spotting on the 30th can any one help thanks
Avatar f tn Okay. Well, in all honesty, I would suspect just a wonky period rather than pregnancy at this point. Conceiving naturally past 40 goes down each year that goes by. I would see if a period starts in the next two weeks or if you get a period when you'd ordinarily have expected it based on your regular cycle. If there is an issue after that time, I'd consult your doctor. Lots of things can delay a period from stress, to changes in routine, hormonal issues, slow thyroid, etc.
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
