ve been getting what feels like moderate menstrual cramps. I woke up this morning with these cramps, and for the past few hours I've had what feels like really bad diarrhea cramps (sorry, tmi), but no diarrhea. They are sporadic, but intense. It might be early labor. I have read where premature labor can feel like menstrual cramps. It could also be Braxton hicks but Im not sure. If you have more than 4 cramps an hour, you should call your OB ASAP. That is what the OB nurse told me on Friday when I was having contractions showing on the monitor, although I didn't feel them.

Last week I started Zoloft, but I went off of it after two days because I was having severe abdominal cramping and bloating, with loads of gas. I was also having crazy manic episodes but that's beside the point. I was ovulating at the time of the cramps, but it was all upper. I have been on my period for two weeks not one day since started has it stopped.It has gotten lighter but not stopped and it feels like twitching in my stomach, my upper stomach is hard most the time. Have had few craps but not bad ones more like light menstrual cramps. I am waiting to go to doc because of change in my copay. 28wks if very further along to feel menstrual cramps.. i would recommend you to go L&D.. as it could be start of contractions.. as you are pregnant with twins it is also possible to get lower abdomen discomfort due to babies gaining weight etc... but than again you can never be sure so you need to see doctor... just to be on safe side...

Woke up with little cramps in my lower stomach and soreness..

s basically 2 kinds of contractuons, those that feel like menstrual cramps to prepare the body and those that feel like they go from the top of your stomach to the bottom, which move the baby down.

Most of the time cramps are just your uterus expanding they feel like menstrual cramps. If they are worse than that though it can be a reaction to depression or medication.
