maybe sound crazy but I have an odd-ball question concerning menstrual cramps and how they compare to it?

hi im a FTM 39.5 weeks and due on friday.im not really sure what to expect this week.as of now I'm just nauseas and have been feeling pressure on my down area and light menstrual cramps that started a while ago.

Hello- I'm not sure how old you are but I'm 27 and have had/have the same types of cramps that you do. I believe the medical term for it is dysmenorrhea. As for it being normal...ehh lol, I guess it's "normal" as in it happens to many women and isn't usually life threatening in any way. However, my personal opinion is that normal isn't always good, and this is one of those cases.

If the cramps and not getting your period is causing you this much stress then yes, go to the ER and request a blood test. That will definitely give you a concrete Positive or negative. Good Luck!!!

cramps, some women feel it just in their back and others say it feels like intense menstrual cramps, but either way they will get worse and more intense.

I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?

Is it normal to have slight cramps below your stomach ( almost like menstrual cramps) the first 4 weeks?

This pregnancy ive been battling preeclamplsia since 15wks and my body try to bail out again. I woke up feeling a bit off at 27wks with random menstrual cramps. By lunch time I was having intestinal cramps so bad I felt like I couldn't get off the toilet for 1.5hrs then I lost my mucus plug. By the time my husband got home from work 20mins later I was having regular painful contractions. By the time we got to the hospital they were 3mins apart.

I knew I was in labor because it felt like the start of menstrual cramps and I went to the bathroom and I was spotting. The cramps got more intense and were every three minutes, all in my back.

It might be early labor. I have read where premature labor can feel like menstrual cramps. It could also be Braxton hicks but Im not sure. If you have more than 4 cramps an hour, you should call your OB ASAP. That is what the OB nurse told me on Friday when I was having contractions showing on the monitor, although I didn't feel them.

Over possible menstrual cramps? I'm just trying to figure out if I conceived is it normal to have cramps around where I'm suppose to start. I would be about 3-4 weeks if it worked.

To me, they didn't feel any different. I was prepared for disappointment because I thought my period was about to come. I don't think every woman feels cramping during implantation, just like every woman does not experience spotting.

Has anyone else had cramps, like menstrual cramps, throughtout the entire first trimester? I never had this when I was pregnant with my first 2 pregnancies, constant cramps, pains, and nausea 24/7. Does it ever stop?

I also have many girlfriends that experienced similar experiences with irregularities after coming off birth control. And I know a lot of doctors say you can come off birth control and be perfectly fine, become regular right away and easily conceive, however that was never the case for me or most of my friends.

I thought that since o go through So much pain with my periods that labor would be a little easier but it turned out to Me contractions feel totally different then menstrual cramps bit I had a horrible labor but no pregnant lady wants to hear about horror labor stories!

over the weekend I had what I thought was my normal menstrual. And it turned out to be what they called a inevitable miscarriage, I did not test this month because I didn’t want to be disappointed and figured if I didn’t get my menstrual by Monday ( I was due Friday) I would test and I started to spot Friday and some on Saturday morning by the afternoon I was in a ball, sweating and nauseous and bleeding so bad I was unable to stand up straight.

When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrual cramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrual cramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.

I have been having menstrual like cramps as well and am almost 37 weeks. They come and go, not constant.. hard to really time. At my last appt i mentioned it to my ob and she said if I was able to go back to sleep and I couldn't time them they were most likely braxton hicks.
