I had that too at 33 weeks. Hurts lower belly, back and legs so they told me to come in and I was in preterm labor. When I told my dr that I had menstrual like cramping he immediately said 'those are contractions'. Then he checked my cervix and it was short, i got a non stress test and sure enough i was having contractions every 2 or 3 minutes. I'd go in if I were you. They are stopping my labor until 36 weeks.
I'm almost 4 weeks. I have what feels like menstrual cramps 24/7 and have had them for awhile. Is that normal?

I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?
Why do the cramps hurt so bad?
When I get my period litterally everything starts to hurt, I get stomach cramps, menstrual cramps, my legs cramp up, my lower back and get restless is this normal? Also I feel like I am not retaining any water, and my body gets really hot like I have a fever, and want to throw up, I di have a fever of 101 one time and when my body gets hot it feels the same way, I drink alot of water but still just feel dehydrated and tired. Do I just need electrolytes?
Since yesterday I was feeling little cramps and they have been getting stronger and longer . They feel like a big hard sharp cramps starting from my stomach going down to my legs going like a wave but last about 30 seconds long .my feet are also beginning to become swollen. Im going to be 39 weeks tomorrow and im a first time mom. Is this braxton hicks or real contractions ? Im trying to take as much pain as I can before I go into the hospital.
Hello. Usually my menstrual cramps are horrible, I get all dizzy, my legs start to shiver, headaches and some other stuff; meds dont help at all in this situation but, my grandma made some tea out of a jamaican flower that it actually help ease the pain. I am not sure if its healthy or not but I would like to know if theres any other nat. remedies that could help me in my period.
I only get these cramps every other hour or day sometimes and they only last about 15 secs after that I feel fine.
(Im very petite and she doesnt want me going to far over my due date in fear the baby may get too big to pass vaginally).
