menstrual cramps before period

I had my period about four days ago but still i have this lower abdominal pain that ruins my days sometimes left sometimes right sometimes both and its real painfull through my lower back and its like my ovary and everything inside are goin to burst out with my period :'( .. Before if im goin to have my period i have breast tendernes but no abdominal pain now i dont have breast tendernes but severe abdominal pain... I dont know whats going on...

For those that have been dx, did you have a change in your menstrual cycle before your diagnosis?

last march 14-16, i had an unusual period that it lasts for three days, this is my first time ever. apparently, i had unprotected sex days before and during my period. My bleeding stopped then i had a week spotting (brown-pinkinsh-brown) then i had unprotected sex on march 23. Then the night of march 27, i had a red light spotting (bright pink-brown) that lasted march 30. All these cramps was associated with a light cramps and episode of frequent urinating, lightheaded, dizzy, nausea.

HEY . IM 36 WEEKS & 5DAYS , HAVE ANYONE EVER EXPERIENCE MENSTRUAL LIKE CRAMPS BEFORE LABOR ?

I had period like cramps before I was even supposed to start my period, so I assumed I was going to start early.. well, surprise surprise it never came.. I was 2 weeks late, still cramping, but took a test anyway.. I'm 10w4d & I still cramp every now & then, but my OB says it's b/c I'm just so petite.. good luck!!

Is it normal to have period like cramps during your pregnancy? Im 13 wks. I had those cramps this passed Monday, it woke me out of my sleep. It really made nervous and i checked to make sure i wasn't bleeding and i wasn't.

I cramp all the time...random times. They come in waves...almost feel like menstrual cramps. I'm 5weeks 5days.

I am 35 weeks tomorrow with baby #1. Been having menstrual like cramps in my lower back and lower belly/pelvic area. It started not last night, but the night before. Occasionally it gets painful and sharp pains spread up towards my belly button. When they aren't the sharp pains that go up higher, it's just a dull ache like the period cramps. But the cramps have been pretty constant for the past hour or so. I know I'm not in labor yet, but could this the beginning signs?

I had a menstrual 2 weeks ago. but 2 weeks before my menstrual i had mild cramps it was weird because that has never happened before.

To me, they didn't feel any different. I was prepared for disappointment because I thought my period was about to come. I don't think every woman feels cramping during implantation, just like every woman does not experience spotting.

the cramps thing, just excercise or do sit ups 2weeks or a week before tour period. if you dont know when your period will arrive, just do brisk walking or cardio excercises. :D hope this helps.

I have been suffering extremely painful cramps for years now, ever since I got my first period when I was 13. I'm currently 18 and am going off to college very soon, but I have no idea how to deal with these cramps that incapacitate me for an entire day. My cramps get so bad that I usually faint. For example, when I was around 14 my period came in the morning but I still went to school.

And before I was treated for pcos, I never had a light period. Mine were always heavy and really bad cramps. I think my period now is beeter because of 3 reasons: on birth control pills, i take metformin and I'm close to losing 60lbs. Good luck and see your doctor asap!!!!!

Before the start of my menstrual cycle, during my menstrual cycle and right after my menstrual cycle I get really sick with nausea, diarrhea and sometimes even cramps as well. the cramps may be more intense b/c ur period is late and may be begining. its happened to me before. i would take a hpt to see if u are pregnant and if so then id make an appointment with an ob/gyn to be on the safe side.

Serious question...im 37wks & ive been having like menstrual period cramps the whole night & followed by a horrible back pain.. Ive also had dome type of discharge but it looks more like water just clear & thin... Could this mean im ready for labor or is it just something normal?? What do i do?

I am 18 years old and had on and off cramping for the entire duration of my period & afterwards. I am sexually active in a monogamous relationship with no STDs & I started having some spotting three days before my scheduled period. I thought maybe it could be implantation bleeding but when my period was due I started having heavy bleeding that seem like my regular menstrual cycle and it lasted the normal amount of days (5).
