Avatar f tn Not sure if this is just normal but since 3 this afternoon I've been getting diarrhea type cramps and menstrual type cramps that are getting stronger with time. They don't go away with changing position or anything. Im 33 weeks. Any advice?
Avatar f tn It sounds like diarrhea though. The cramping reminds me of menstrual cramps.
Avatar f tn Then at 24wks I started getting random uterine contractions that felt like bh but with a menstrual cramp and pain in the back and would take my breath away, even had one in the middle of an ob appointment, he still said it was ok because it was random. At 27wks, I woke up feeling a bit off and occassional menstrual cramps. By lunch I also had intestinal cramps and felt like I needed to have diarrhea so went to the toilet, felt like I couldn't get up for 1.
Avatar f tn I heard that diarrhea is a sign of labor also I was contracting all day long with menstrual cramps every time I contracted but they weren't increasing in pain so I didn't go in. BTW I am 2 cm dilated that I know of and I have lost m plug. My question is do you think I am about to be in labor & how do I treat the hemmeroids?
Avatar f tn Some women describe Braxton Hicks contractions as tightening in the abdomen that comes and goes. Many women say they feel like mild menstrual cramps. Unlike true labor, these contractions are usually not painful and do not happen at regular intervals. They do not get closer together, do not increase with walking, do not last longer as they go on, and do not feel stronger over time as they do when you are in true labor. What Do True Labor Contractions Feel Like?
1043607 tn?1253236817 ve been having these painful cramps for almost a week now, without vomiting or diarrhea. They almost feel like menstrual cramps - in the back - except for they are higher up, and all through out my midsection. I have never had menstrual cramps that felt like this, and I'm not near my period. I would say it's similar to the feeling you get when you have diarrhea, but I'm going to the bathroom as usual, no constipation either.
Avatar n tn I was Diagnosed and Treated with radioactive Iodine for Graves Disease in the Fall of last year. Since then I have been battling hair loss, weight gain, muscle cramps and extreme tiredness. I recently in May went on the synthroid but haven't had much change except for the muscle cramps have reduced. My question is though, how does taking synthroid effect your periods.
Avatar f tn Last night I climbed into bed for about 10 minutes and had to jump up and threw up everything in my stomach and then had terrible diarrhea (sorry).. really wanting to hear stories of labor starting within 24 to 48 hours LOL shes almost full term and a chunky monkey!
Avatar f tn No diarrhea by itself is not a sign of preterm labor.
Avatar f tn So I'm almost 37 weeks. I haven't really felt contractions at this point so I'm confused if that's what I'm feeling tonight. All night I've felt constant (what feels like) menstrual cramps. I can't time them because they're always there. But I randomly get really painful (what feels like) poop cramps. I've had diarrhea so they could just be poop cramps, but they hurt like no other and have been going all night.
Avatar f tn Worse than menstrual cramps, and reminded me of when I was experiencing contractions from labor. The pain radiated to my lower back also. The pain has been off and on for a whole week now, with some days being better than others. It gets a lot worse if I'm even the slightest bit hungry, and as soon as I eat the cramps stop. I assumed it was food poisoning since this all started immediately after my meal on Monday, but I've never heard of it causing cramps for a week straight! Any ideas?
Avatar f tn ve been getting what feels like moderate menstrual cramps. I woke up this morning with these cramps, and for the past few hours I've had what feels like really bad diarrhea cramps (sorry, tmi), but no diarrhea. They are sporadic, but intense. Could it be a sign that labor is near? I'm 36 weeks today, btw (didn't even think I'd be able to keep him in this long).
Avatar n tn Friday my doctor told me that I am 2 cm dilated and "pretty soft" and then went on to explain that if my water broke or if I had 4 or more contractions in an hour to head on into the ER. It seems pretty direct and from my 1st pregnancy I know I can be at 2 cm for a LONG time, however she seemed pretty sure that I'll be meeting my little boy soon. My question is this: what am I looking for with contractions?
Avatar f tn Recently, the past 5-7 days, I have been experiencing some uncomfortable cramps, soft of like heavy menstrual cramps accompanied by bad diarrhea. I am now 35 weeks pregnant, I was just curious if anyone else experienced this in the last few weeks of their pregnancy, if it is normal and pregnancy related or if I have just come down with a bug that is unrelated to the pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Women have described true labor contractions as being very similar to severe menstrual cramps or diarrhea cramps.True contractions occur at regular intervals and can last 30-70 seconds (on average, about a minute).
Avatar n tn Hi, I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction here. I feel like i've exhausted a lot of my options. Here's my problem: About 8 months ago I started getting diarrhea about once a month for about a week before my period. It was so bad during that week that I wouldn't be able to eat anything because i would just come right out. After a few months I went to the doctor and she told me it was endrometriosis and put me on the pill.
5627628 tn?1400006216 So last night I started getting menstrual cramps and dull low bk pain. Had some diarrhea too. This morning I feel pressure in my pelvis and rectum. I feel like I want to push. But I go to the bathroom and very little comes out. Cramps come and go making me want to sit on the toilet. Could this be the beginning?
Avatar f tn I'm 27 and am noticing that every month my cramps get worse and worse so bad that I can't walk and even breathing hurts needless to say I can't move. I had a cyst rupture on one of my ovarys 2 years ago putting me in the worst pain ever. The pains I have now are similar but don't last as long as my ruptured cyst did, what could be happening in my body to make my cramps hurt this bad every month?!?! Please help!!!
1170694 tn?1285097509 re experiencing happens to a lot of woman, including myself. Before the start of my menstrual cycle, during my menstrual cycle and right after my menstrual cycle I get really sick with nausea, diarrhea and sometimes even cramps as well. Since there is usually an unbalance in our hormones all kinds of sicknesses can occur.
Avatar f tn For me it was menstrual cramps, intestinal cramps like feeling like I had diarrhea but not, pelvic pressure, then I lost my mucus plug.
Avatar f tn Hello everyone! I have a question about menstrual cramps, and any help would be appreciated. I have been suffering extremely painful cramps for years now, ever since I got my first period when I was 13. I'm currently 18 and am going off to college very soon, but I have no idea how to deal with these cramps that incapacitate me for an entire day. My cramps get so bad that I usually faint. For example, when I was around 14 my period came in the morning but I still went to school.
554174 tn?1284031102 I never had this before in my life and its constant now - I cannot have to BM and not get these cramps - worse than menstrual cramps too i my lower abdomen. When the pains come- its time to get to the toilet and now! The when I pass everything - its fine. My doc also told met that my body is changing and hence less room for it all in me and so the pain happens. I would not worry about it though - I was at first and for nothing. Hoep this helps.
Avatar f tn of cold chills with a combination of nausea and diarrhea. These symptoms only happen once I have laid down for bed and last from 40 minutes to 3 hours. The chills are the worst part-and shake my whole body. They seem to happen before my menstrual period (if that makes a difference) and appear about once every other month to once every three months. I am so confused at what can be causing them. I don't know if it is a food allergy, or hormone related, or anxiety related.
Avatar f tn Im 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant. 2cm dialated and baby is head down and ready to go. I've had my membranes stripped and have also had a very healthy pregnancy but I'm just tired of being pregnant and sore all the time. I have castor oil and its taunting me to give it a try. Please share your experiences with trying this old wives tale?
Avatar f tn I've been having lower back pain and started feeling mild menstrual like cramps now I have pain for like 10 seconds that comes and goes. My belly starts to feel tight. I've been feeling this way all day. What could it be? I'm getting real worried now.
Avatar f tn First I thought I was pregnant but home test came back negative three times and now i have no idea what is wrong with me. The pain feels like the worst menstrual cramps you could ever imagine. Makes giving birth look like nothing. The cramps come and go. I also have nausea and diarrhea. I have also noticed my stomach tightening when the pain gets really bad. I have had a colonoscopy already to rule anything from that out.
