Common Questions and Answers about Men's health symptoms

Avatar m tn I've been taking a GNC Mega Men's multivitamin for about a week and I've noticed a huge increase in my anxiety levels. My father took the same multivitamin for a few months and became mildly more anxious in that time period as well. I'm wondering if there's any correlation between taking a multivitamin and increases in anxiety... I've heard that, if anything, multivitamins are supposed to better your mood, but that's definitely not happening with me. Thanks for your help!

Avatar m tn This is Men's Health. The meds you're on may be causing the constipation. You most likely need a lot more fiber in your diet.I have heard of other men that have a semen like discharge when straining during a bowel movement. I think it's because you're pushing so hard. What is on your anus does sound like piles to me. I know your Dr ruled that out though. It sure sounds like it to me. I'm not sure about the marks on your penis.
Avatar f tn Although my tests were normal she still saw some thing wrong ,she diagnosed me with a condition known as Myocardial Bridge which gives out all symptoms of a heart attack. A condition I was born with. She says men's and women's heart are totally different. I'm sure there are very good male cardiologists but they couldn't hep me. I called her on a Fri. And she called me Sat herself and made all appts. for me. Give her a call hope this helps.

Avatar f tn continue to follow up with the dermatologist, or seek out the opinion of another as needed. since this isn't a herpes problem, perhaps the men's health forum might be more helpful?
Avatar n tn at 6 months the virus was undectable. Lately (last couple of months) I have been having symptoms....depression, night sweats, shakiness, fatigue, lower abd pain, nausea, loss of appetite....what are the chances that the virus has returned? I am scared to go back to the doctor...if the virus has returned what are my options? Will treatment again be necessary? I have an appointment with my physician tomorrow and am really scared.
Avatar n tn of course i'm feeling remorse over what happened - i will be traveling for another 3 weeks so i will be brooding over this until i can speak face to face with my partner. but in addition to the guilt, i have started experiencing mild symptoms, beginning at day 3 - sweating, mild stomach pain, a sore in my mouth (it was only there on day 3 - then it seemed to pop - it seemed like a swollen ball in the back of my mouth - and then it was just - gone) - and i'm also a bit itchy.
Avatar f tn So, on May 2nd, I had unprotected oral sex and very brief unprotected vaginal sex (couple of thrusts before pulling out and putting on a condom) with a person of unknown health status. Fast forward to the 27th and I had a very minor sting when peeing and notices a little bit of redness inside my urethra that KIND OF looked like 2 red bumps but also could have been normal variation of skin color.
Avatar n tn What we know with some certainty is that nobody with symptoms like yours ever later develops serious health problems -- no infertility, cancer, or other difficulties. Similarly, men's sex partners don't develop any problems. So whatever is going on in such cases, it is not apparently due to any infection. And experience shows that once affected men come to understand that nothing serious is going on, the symptoms often fade away. So my advice is to do your best to move on.
Avatar m tn I am afraid I can not be of much help in this area, we do, however, have a great men's health forum and one even for STD's. I will refer you to one of those groups. I hope you get the help you are looking for soon. God bless you. Merry Christmas.
Avatar n tn It could be, but you should post on men's health or urology for more info.
Avatar m tn You should post in the dermatology, men's health, or sexual health forums. This is not an std if you have had it since before being sexually active.
Avatar m tn You have to have sexual contact with another person who has an std in order to get one. Your symptoms are not std related. Please post in the dermatology, teen, sexual health, or men's health forum.
Avatar m tn Try posting in men's health, it is not a STD.
