Avatar f tn People who buy their own insurance faced premium increases that averaged 20% for their most recent renewals, according to a national survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation, a health policy research organization. The market for individual insurance has long been considered the most problematic in the industry, and it is the target of many of the most sweeping health care reforms recently enacted by Congress.

Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
Avatar f tn Hello~You will probably get more help in the men's health forum, I have put a request in for you for this post to be transferred there.
2072812 tn?1331578368 The bleeding comes from tearing blood vessels when the hymen is torn. As far as I can find out, not all women bleed the first time (according to wikipedia, a survey said less than 43% bleed). The shape of the hymen would also play it's part, if it doesnt cover much then it wont have to break. My guess is that it probably wont bleed. It either got torn but didnt tear any blood vessels or it didnt get torn at all. Hope this helps.

1045086 tn?1332126422 I came across this survey in a CMSC (Consortium of MS Centers) newsletter last week and participated myself. It's legit and was quite interesting to take - really made me think. This survey asks questions about your experience and perceptions of living with MS but it also inquires how the approach of employers, friends, family and others might have changed since you have been diagnosed. No identifying information is required if you opt to donate the $10 being offered.
