4502619 tn?1355569353 What you MUST do if you don't want to see a personal trainer is buy a book on training exercise another thing to do is go online and subscribe to Men's Health. It's VERY important to learn the proper forms when you exercise so as not to injure yourself. Make sure to check with your doctor first and get his/her OK.
Avatar n tn OMG!! 46, will be 47 in June. Can't even tell you how everything seems to be failing, wrinkling, etc. & yes, it seems like it happened overnight. Perimenopausal as well. Had complete check up recently & no major health issues. However, my gyno has me hrt's(which I REALLY want to get off of). Added into the mix of all the skin issues mentioned, I am losing my hair like CRAZY. Anyone else having hair loss issues?
Avatar n tn It is a warm, sort of tingly sensation that lasts 5 seconds and occurs, I don't know, 10 times throughout the day. I wonder if I slept on the leg funny?? Stress?? I am 43 and in reasonably good health but seem to be a hypochondriac (spelling?) at times. I doubt this is related, but I have some sort of muscle strain in my hip/groin area that is possible due to an intense backpacking trip in October. Any feedback appreciated. Guess I could consult dr. after Xmas if still going on . . .
Avatar n tn but as far as the penis being hard in a flacid state i have the exact same problem. from what i have researched online i have found that being stressed out can contrict the smooth muscles of the penis and also cause the penis to shrink. i also experience anxiety attacks also. every time i have an anxiety attack my penis will shrink all the way down to about an inch and its very hard.
Avatar n tn Usually women's tailbones are curvier than men's. That's why a lot of female butts are more shapely than males. Especially from the side view. So when you see a person, male or female, who have a "flat" butt, it's just because his or her tailbone is not as curved as someone with a J-Lo butt. See what I mean? Pretty simple right?! So, the soft tissue (fat and muscle) of the behind, the pelvis, and the hips have to do with how big the behind is, from the front view and the side view.
Avatar n tn She is in her 50's and very active. WOrks out with a trainer 5 times a week. Her doctor reccommended PT too and her pain persisted because she ended up shattering her disk. SHe had the surgery and is back in the gym, skies, plays golf, you name it. If you have to choose between the 2 surgeries the microdiscectomy is a smaller incision and quicker recovery but make sure you have an neurosurgeon who is well versed in this surgery. Good luck.
380530 tn?1239166138 Even though there is so much information available online, it really helps to be able to bounce ideas around with others. We are there to look things up for one another, to share acquired knowledge and experiences, to support, and to be an ear to vent to. I am not an overly mushy person, but I would have had a difficult time getting through some of these days without all of you on my side.
Avatar n tn Here are my stats in case there is some common link that could be causing it. 53, excellent health, have enlarge prostate (take Flomax). Also take Centrum Silver, Zocor, Nexium and a baby aspirin. But, have taken all these for a long, long time and doubt any of them are the cause. I started a new job where I sit in an office chair 8 hours+ each day. The vibration started a few days after I started this job, though I've had office type jobs my entire life.
Avatar n tn If you're taking this pill just to loose weight, and not for a health reason, you should stop taking it, and see that if you keep eating healthy, and walking, you'll still loose! And BTW, taking this pill 10 mins before a meal to help with your appetite is crazy! All diet pills tell you to take it 30min.s before each meal.. b/c it takes 30 min.s to start working...10 min.s? that pill isn't doing anything for you when you're eating!
Avatar f tn I had upper and lower jaw surgery 3 years ago and my health has never been the same. I was given 4 plates and screws in the mandible and maxilla and got the same story about the bioavailability of titanium, but I question it. I have done some moderate research over the last few months and I found one excellent study about a very small percentage of patients having significant health systems since receiving Ti implants.
Avatar n tn i had echo done on my heart--normal chest xray--normal blood tests--normal (still waiting for the results of the allergy test though) so like the other post said...i feel better about my heart, and my health but i still cant breathe. Pulmonary function tests where the doctor said "it could be asthma, very mild though" he prescribed singulair and an albuterol inhaler for before i run. sometimes taking the inhaler can make me lightheaded. so i dont like using it.
Avatar n tn It helps my mood, but I don't want to further complicate my condition if the androgel isn't even fixing the problem. Is that a bad idea? I take a daily vitamin (Men's One a Day, Vit. E 45 IU, Zinc 15mg). Is that enough for my zinc and vitamin E? Should I start taking HCG? Will that fix the problem?
Avatar n tn I am very active and have been regularly working out using the Eliptical, Treadmill and the Arc Trainer plus doing the weight machines and lunges and squats and have never had a problem now all of a sudden I cannot fully bend my knee or it feels like it is burning and tearing.
Avatar n tn I also read about the B12 lipotropics injections/ lipo bc pills. I ordered the lipo bc from dr. gates dietsolutions online. I just started with the lipo bc pill and had notice just one/two a day I have had a little more energy. I have also seen some other sites selling the lipo b12, do u know what the difference may be? I need to lose atleast 50lbs and I have not been really doing it. I need the energy!! I want to get up and start walking or having the energy to do something!!
Avatar m tn i know ultimately the fault is mine the best way to stay healthy is not to take foolish chances and get myself in a position of ill health
Avatar n tn including most of the pant styles popular today (flat fronts) which would otherwise be ideal for my body. Monkeyflower is focusing on our mental health - why is it so hard to believe we might actually have an "abnormal" pubic bone? Although, and I dont understand this, my gyno says "all" women have that...which is total BS! Not to sound like a perv, but I've seen tons of naked women and I've NEVER seen anyone with this.
Avatar f tn small gulps of air like children take is not enuff for health.
Avatar n tn Yes, I can't look at anymore of these diseases and conditions online either because my heart starts racing and I feel sick. Until one of these doctors give me a "firm" diagnosis I am staying away from finding out more. Lindac790: my naturopath gave me vitamin c powder with amino acids that you mention but I've just been taking it for 2 days now so it probably needs time to work. I will ask her about the Malate Renew. Thanks.
Avatar n tn On Monday, after 4 hours and lots of picures at the radiologist, I had a feeling they found something odd. I am horrified and this has consumed me. I have looked up biopsy's online and they all talk about the stereotactical ones but what about if you can't have that done, what will they do? Any help would be appreciated.
Avatar n tn Oops! I forgot to mention that I do have a friend that took Topamax for migraines. She said it helped her immensely, but she did lose weight with it. I don't think she had any of the bad side effects, but I am not for sure.
Avatar n tn He met her at his job. He's a personal trainer and she was once a client but she would see him there like every day because she was a member. When he ended the affair, she left the gym and joined another gym. If she had stayed, I would've forced him to find another place to work. I wouldn't be able to trust him if I knew she was still there. I don't feel like I have to compete anymore because he chose me and his son over her but I understand how your wife would feel that way.
Avatar n tn There is a good article in Women's Health this month in regards to Chronic pain and the fact that sometimes the nerve does not "shut off" long after the injury has healed. At least this would account for the fact that nothing shows on MRI's, X-Rays, CAT scans, Bone Scans etc., etc.. The hope was that the nerve blocks that I had would work "like shutting down and restarting your computer". One worked for 4 days, the next one 2 (they won't repeat them).
