1822032 tn?1338821779 Hi Muffin, Why think cancer, but he needs to be drinking as much as a itre a day or more, not cokes or any sugary drinks as these are just as bad as spicy food, in fact a good chilli would do him the world of good, could be just good old piles, see some grow out and some grow inwards, so each time he goes they ahve to scrape by the and hay presto bleeding, but if he drank more they would be softer, and that would help.
Avatar n tn Pure vitamin E, such as the type found in Unique-E, is best because it contains no harmful omega-6 fats and has all the subtypes of vitamin E. Usually 400 to 1,000 IU a day will enhance desire and improve erectile function — and for some, the improvement can be quite dramatic One alternative to testosterone is the supplement acetyl-L-carnitine or L-carnitine.
Avatar m tn I've been taking a GNC Mega Men's multivitamin for about a week and I've noticed a huge increase in my anxiety levels. My father took the same multivitamin for a few months and became mildly more anxious in that time period as well. I'm wondering if there's any correlation between taking a multivitamin and increases in anxiety... I've heard that, if anything, multivitamins are supposed to better your mood, but that's definitely not happening with me. Thanks for your help!
535822 tn?1443980380 I guess they need a Men's Social forum.
Avatar m tn This will certainly translate in a lesser incidence of health problems, way beyond a lesser drop in testosterone. Thus testosterone here is mainly a marker of general health, less that the cause of the better general health. This does not mean, that there is no benefit to the overall vitality, organ performancne ( beyond sexual activitires!) due to the higher levels of this vitral steroid hormone. But the degree of this contribution is not easy to gauge.
Avatar m tn This is Men's Health. The meds you're on may be causing the constipation. You most likely need a lot more fiber in your diet.I have heard of other men that have a semen like discharge when straining during a bowel movement. I think it's because you're pushing so hard. What is on your anus does sound like piles to me. I know your Dr ruled that out though. It sure sounds like it to me. I'm not sure about the marks on your penis.
Avatar m tn Hi Lil, You have come with a big problem, thats as I see it, and from what your saying verey sexy with it, but I dont think he is, so its up to you to get him to turn that corner which you have been, it seems you have tried most things that would have most men jumping, men and oral sex some of us love to do it and some men just cant do it, and it would not matter how clean you are, its just repulsive to them, and as for him losing his erection, its not such a big problem we all get at some time,
649848 tn?1534637300 When I was young, it was by chance that I was at my office they day they were testing a machine that looked at bone health through your hand. It predicted osteoporosis. That is when I learned that women who are very thin are more prone to osteoporosis. I was really skinny at the time as this was LONG ago prior to kids and middle age. It's a good discussion for doctors to take all things into consideration when looking at patient overall health.
Avatar f tn That makes a lot of sence thanks. In saying that it is kinda frustrating to get headachs on a good day when I'm having fun. It seem very unfair. It seems like my body hates me. Is there any way to make my body cope better with all kinds of stress. When you unfit and you exercise you can become much more fit and healthy. Can you do anything other than reducing my FUN activities to help my body cope. These FUN headach happen all the time and have for most of my life and there very frustrating.
Avatar f tn Across from Stone Oak Methodist Hospital For years I had heart attack symptoms and many trips to the ER but all my ekgs were always normal and the male doctors could never find anything wrong. Then one day was having a bad episode and a coworker said why don't you call my cardiologist wife, they are a husband /wife team. He specializes in stints etc and she specializes in women's hearts.
Avatar f tn Frustrated with therapy, frustrated with my GP, angry and frustrated with myself, frustrated because medhelp shifted a post to men's health (I think because it symbolizes rejection), just frustrated with everything. Frustrated the animals got out and that others may be sick. Frustrated that the cow mauled the dog who is old and has arthritis. I figured the animals only got out (were acting out) because they had needs that weren't being met.
15256956 tn?1439428831 I'd do some homework, have a good heart to heart with your psychiatrist, and if it doesn't go well get a new one. I'd also go back on the citalopram and do a proper slow taper if the withdrawal isn't getting any better. You are the only you, so what suits someone else won't necessarily suit you, and you need a doctor who recognizes that. Good luck.
Avatar f tn } I rarely have skipped beats, although last week I had a short series of what felt like 2 quick beats in between a normal heart rate. This pattern disappeared after a few minutes. I recently had a several chest X-rays and also an upper GI series for digestive issues which revealed a slight hiatal hernia. My family doctor dismissed abdominal /aortic aneurisym.
Avatar f tn Niki - I'm glad to see you are taking one day at a time. I am praying for your stickey little bean. Lori - hilarious - I love the Hellen Keller referance :) Steph - I've got my fingers crossed. Let me know if you want me to get the pom poms out.
408795 tn?1324939275 If a disease is cured --- it's a ONE TIME shot. One time fee. But if you treat it --- chronically --- you make a lot more money with multiple shots and treatments. Interesting - no?
Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer never know. Please take care and good luck.
Avatar n tn Hi I am a 20 yr. old in good health. I recently read an article in Men's Health that was on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Since I was young I have had chest pains, have felt dizzy for no apparent reason, have lost my breath when I felt I shouldn't have, things I felt that may have been out of the ordinary for someone my age. I still get them and am currently enlisted in the Army Reserves.
Avatar m tn I would say no you don't need centrum A to Zinc. You should try One A Day Men's Health Formula. You take it once a day, I would recommend the morning so that you remember to take it each day. It has all of the B Vitamins as well as Vitamin C, which you are not getting enough of. It doesn not contain Iron so you will have to make sure that you get enough of that. It does contain fish and soy so make sure that you are not allergic to either.
790669 tn?1465192699 So I knew all along and yesterday confirmed. It's DH :( If I knew it all along, why does it hurt so much more to actually hear it? Total sperm is less <5.0 :( Volume is normal Viscosity is normal PH is normal Motility is only 20% :( Rapidly Progressive (whatever this is) is 20% Immotile is 80% :( Concentration is <5.0 :( They want him to see a urologists(sp) and we'll go from there. I PRAY this is just a vitamin thing and not something more severe.
Avatar n tn If this is the case do not try to uncover it on your own - go to a doctor and ask if they can do some type of X-ray or ultrasound to figure out exactly what's going on. My one friend was born with a penis and a uterus these things do happen. If it is there but just (tiny and covered) think of it as a boy who's uncircumcised. Remember everyone has a clitoris from the start so it has to be there somewhere! Every egg starts out with an X. Later it gains either an x or a y from the sperm.
Avatar f tn I ask God to let me just not care about him at all anymore. It's hard. We have a long history and quite a story. Well again have a good turkey day and I'll be talking to you.
Avatar m tn All I can say is I highly doubt that this is a STD. Maybe try posting in Men's Health or uriology.
Avatar n tn My second I felt cramps and I started to have a pinkish discharge around day 4. The discharge lasted for a few days and then on day 9 I had a brown discharge along with cramps. The night before my blood test I got my period. So it's hard to compare what your feeling, cause it's all so different. Try not to stress.
Avatar m tn Those who ate the grapefruit also exhibited a decrease in insulin levels, indicating that their bodies had improved upon the ability to metabolize sugar. If you can't stomach a grapefruit-a-day regime, try to find as many ways possible to sneak grapefruit into your diet. Even a moderate increase in grapefruit intake should yield results, not to mention earn you a massive dose of lycopene—the cancer-preventing antioxidant found most commonly in tomatoes.
92903 tn?1309908311 But this article from a Gay Men's Health web site is a good quick read on nutrition and the liver. Interestingly, nothing about coffee enemas. Maybe I'm wasting my time.
173939 tn?1333221450 I walked right into a men's restroom at a State Park a couple years ago when I heard a child screaming inside. Turns out there were kids snapping each other with towels, no problem. But I kind of feel like it's about being vigilant, and watchful. No one is going to harm my child while I stand right there and listen 3 feet outside the door.
Avatar m tn He proscribed 500MG of Ciprofloxanin twice a day for one month. After the first month, I called his office to inform them that the condition remains; they then extended the subscription for another 15 days. I am now coming to the end of these 15 days, still condition remains. (Maybe better, but still not gone) Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. 1.) Can this be STD or STD related? 2.) Do i continue with this Urologist or seek another opinion? 3.
Avatar n tn Be sure you schedule the appointment with a mental health clinicianwho specializes in the pediatric population. Gender identity confusion is a condition that manifests itself, usually, in older children and teenagers. But it would be worthwhile to investigate the perceptions that go hand-in-hand with the behavior your son is demonstrating.
Avatar n tn Hi, all I was just reading an article from Men's Health, wherein the columnist wrote of an experience he had while observing heart suregery from the surgeon's elbow: "Did you know that open-heart surgery has a stink all its own?
Avatar n tn I had a half of my thyroid taken out in 2006 and a week ago had the remaining half taken out. There were nodules on both sides that were growing and turn out not to be cancerous. I was wondering if anyone has had a positive experience with their thyroidectomy? After the first surgery I didn't have much trouble with the healing of the scar and my voice didn't change and didn't notice being anxious or tired in the last two years...I was never taking meds though.
