Avatar f tn Hi, my names Demelza, I am 37 and live in New Zealand. I am a stay at home mum with 4 awesome kids aged 4,6,8,10. I came here as I have just had my third MRI in a year and I am still very confused. Public funding of MS drugs is limited to older ones and you must met strong criteria to get them. Our public health system has very little user pays in it. So hi.
Avatar n tn Hi! I just moved to new Zealand, and dont know what to do about my contraception, I usually took pills but I'm running out of them and don't really know what to do or take here. Going to a doctor is going to be really expensive now, so I was thinking to start using the BASAL Thermomether system? Does anybody know something about it??

1293887 tn?1332702847 Ok that kind of makes sense. I'm originally from New Zealand and private health insurance was almost unheard of. Everyone just used the public system. When I had my son I paid for nothing because it was a pregnancy. If I wasn't pregnant then you would pay like 25 to see the doctor, if you went to hospital everything was free. I do know you had to go on waiting lists for major operations but they were all free. In australia you hear a lot more of private health insurance.
Avatar m tn http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Mens-Health/show/93 There are also several related groups that will be listed on the right hand side that may be of interest to you. I'm simply not familiar with them all. But we welcome you to join our community of Chronic Pain patients. We have a lot of very smart people here. Do check back later. Hopefully someone will recognize your symptoms. And welcome to our community.

Avatar m tn There is no treatment support offered by any New Zealand public or private hospital specialist, support also and blocked by New Zealand Surgeons presenting medical opinion denying heath complications (many listed above) as side affects of having a removed gallbladder . With no support, there is no hope for the further. Life goals and ambitions replaced with a painful living hell fighting for survival or recovery from damage affecting vital organs such as liver , heart and pancreas.
