Avatar f tn Oddly, the rising rates have not been seen yet in the Southern Hemisphere in Australia and New Zealand. Each year, more than 30,000 new cases of cancer of the oral cavity and pharynx are diagnosed, and more than 8,000 people die from oral cancer, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Cure rates are higher than for smoking-related throat cancers, but still only 50 percent.
Avatar f tn Does this Complex Atypical Endometrial Hyperplasia mean pre-cancerous IS REALLY cancer up further in the uterous? They are scaring me to death, and I feel that some of the new -to -be Dr's at the Clinic are really guessing. Maybe I am wrong, but I do know treatment is much different if you have insurance.
Avatar n tn I am sorry for your Dx. I am a female but also now hypo.Since the beginning of my illness everything I read regarding the disease, when I stumbled across the stats of men getting it, I read through it. Dx is rare. specially on sub clinical Hypo or Hyper thyroidism in men. I believe this b/c men are less likely to see a doctor when they have symptoms. and if they do go and get Dx'd - most do not have the patience and stay on top of it.
Avatar f tn And after a shower my hair still looked like it had not been washed in months. I live in NEW ZEALAND and i couldn't find the brown listerine and also am a young mum so couldn't afford Clarifying shampoo. I I found THE CURE that worked for me and I hope will work for you. On a Saturday when at home for the day (today) I had some pure coconut oil in my bathroom so i figured my hair NEEDED SOFTENING.
Avatar n tn I am new to this site and new to Topamax. I have suffered from migraines all my life, but in the last year, the severity has become unbearable. I would find myself literally in "hell" for days with a migraine that would not quit. God forgive me, but in the last few months the pain was so severe that I wished that I would die just to relive it. It was that bad. Yes, I did seek help. I went to the best Doctors. I saw specialists.
Avatar f tn I live in central New Jersey. I absolutely think its Brachioradial Pruritus, thats the only thing that makes sense. I personally believe its neck/spinal problem causing the itching not sun exposure. I know that i had a problem with my neck when i was younger and maybe that is what has started causing this now. I also have a slight case of scoliosis. Many people are debating the cause and reasons for this its been written about in journals but there is nothing concrete.
Avatar n tn I too can relate to your story. Not just an hr ago I went through this same thing: stomach cramps and nausea; light headed, turned pale, I got really hot all over sweating from head to toe; loss in blood pressure that I couldn’t even hold my head up, felt like I would pass out; severe stomach cramps and liquid diarrhea, in my case there was no hard stool. I have experienced this problem probably 5 or 6 times in my life and I am 46.
