Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.
Avatar n tn run at 6mph for 2 minutes then run at 3mph or rest for 2 minutes) will be more effective in losing weight than if I ran or walked at a steady pace.Is there any truth to this>?
Avatar f tn I see that you are in Romania. I don't know how the health care system is in your country. I guess your Mom is being seen by a doctor, if not she wouldn't have the test results. Is he a hepatologist? Has she had a biopsy? What is the doctor suggesting? Do you have to pay for the medication yourself, or is the state or medical insurance providing for that?
Avatar f tn Oh....no...it's much better nowadays from this point of view. We've been told since 1992 there's no re usage for syringes or needles whatsoever. Now (these past 7months I started to learn sth bout this H I V issue) I am worried sick bout hospitals and getting stuck so I'm very much aware. They always use fresh new ones. As for the time you knew Romania it's true- that was the children HIV+generation that lived longer than Romania would have wont.
Avatar m tn Hi , I am from Romania and I desperately need the treatment with Sofosbuvir for my wife who have HCV and an advanced cyrhosis. Unfortunately in my country this treatment is not yet available covered or not by the insurance so I have to find a solution to buy this treatment for her.

Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer here...you never know.
Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
Avatar f tn Hello~You will probably get more help in the men's health forum, I have put a request in for you for this post to be transferred there.
Avatar m tn You would definitely want to ask your doctor that question. I saw an article in a medical magazine in a hospital waiting room that said that the sperm are a bigger factor in health of a baby than previously realized. Smoking, drinking, poor sleep, poor diet, high stress, and toxins all take a toll on sperm, weakening them. I think it's a great question and worth researching.
Avatar m tn I'm having a hard time understanding why an enlarged pupil would be such a difficult thing to put up with after all the other major health problems she's had. You could try a weak solution of pilocarpine in the right eye. You could also try Alphagan P which inhibits dilation in dim light.
