973741 tn?1342342773 Hm... this is a hard one. I find Hugh Jackman very attractive, but I am sure part of it is his personality. I've read and seen several interviews with him, and he seems like a genuinely nice family-oriented man. I have trouble finding some of these "stars" attractive if I find out they're a jerk. As for women, well, I wouldn't cry if I woke up looking like Nicole Kidman. I've heard that she's even more stunning in real life than she is in photos.
Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.
Avatar n tn run at 6mph for 2 minutes then run at 3mph or rest for 2 minutes) will be more effective in losing weight than if I ran or walked at a steady pace.Is there any truth to this>?
Avatar f tn He had 3 cardiac ablations, the last performed by Dr. Jackman (8 years ago), His heart beat is now pretty slow, gets down in the 40's and he struggles to breath. He also has spontaneous pneumothorax and his lungs rupture on occassion so I guess he is a mess. My question is, "can ablations cause your heart to beat wrong and if so could treatment be covered retroactive?" Maybe there is a post-ablation study group he could join and get care for this for free?
Avatar m tn Hello~I am requesting that this post be transferred to men's health, they will be able to help you better.
Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer here...you never know.
Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
Avatar f tn Hello~You will probably get more help in the men's health forum, I have put a request in for you for this post to be transferred there.
Avatar m tn You would definitely want to ask your doctor that question. I saw an article in a medical magazine in a hospital waiting room that said that the sperm are a bigger factor in health of a baby than previously realized. Smoking, drinking, poor sleep, poor diet, high stress, and toxins all take a toll on sperm, weakening them. I think it's a great question and worth researching.
