Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.
Avatar n tn run at 6mph for 2 minutes then run at 3mph or rest for 2 minutes) will be more effective in losing weight than if I ran or walked at a steady pace.Is there any truth to this>?
Avatar m tn Hello~I am requesting that this post be transferred to men's health, they will be able to help you better.
Avatar n tn I am a student at San Francisco State university and I am creating a magazine for teen girls with Type 1 Diabetes for my senior thesis project. My sister was diagnosed when she was 5 and now that she's 13, things are getting more difficult. I decided that a magazine aimed specifically at teen girls with diabetes might be helpful. It is going to be almost like a fashion magazine covering issues like eating disorders to politics but in a way that is interesting and accessable.
Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer here...you never know.
Avatar f tn s worse because I am ok on meds and I want to be a mental health worker but if I am classed as having a mental disability myself does that mean I can never do this? I really want to help others like myself is all.
Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
1830047 tn?1321667793 t have the strength anymore. I have found no one who can tell me where to look at possible careers. I want to be able to work through or around my illness. I think something that can be done on a contract basis to allow for bad days would be a good idea. I've thought about a BS in nutrition or speech therapist, but can't find an on-line school for either. At this time I cannot get to a campus class reliably. Any thoughts? Thanks much.
Avatar f tn Hello~You will probably get more help in the men's health forum, I have put a request in for you for this post to be transferred there.
Avatar m tn You would definitely want to ask your doctor that question. I saw an article in a medical magazine in a hospital waiting room that said that the sperm are a bigger factor in health of a baby than previously realized. Smoking, drinking, poor sleep, poor diet, high stress, and toxins all take a toll on sperm, weakening them. I think it's a great question and worth researching.
Avatar f tn I believe there is no normal. It depends upon the relationship and the individuals (and cultures) involved. Some people date years before getting married while others get married after mere months. However, you will want to be sure you're not rushing into anything and that you take your time getting to know each other well and that your goals and directions in life are the same. Consider what he might be willing to accept in regards to careers.
Avatar n tn You should post this in the sexual health or men's health forum.
